Different hull design. I’ve actually heard a few dealers say that the S wave is more customizable and super easy to set up. The ZS is deeper, that’s about it. I’m buying this exact boat over there ZS.

I love these new boats and the ZS series as well. The only thing I keep reading, from current owners, is that this vinyl is way hotter than the competitors vinyl. I mean, durable is great, but if you have to constantly keep it wet or sit on a towel, that is worrisome. Do they have any plans of remedying this issue?

It depends on which competitor and what color vinyl. The Supreme vinyl does get warmer than other vinyl that is designed to be cooler but less durable, however, this only really comes up with the darker vinyl colors. If you shy away from black vinyl as the main color and opt for the larger bimini option it typically isn't ever an issue. Any of the lighter browns or greys won't get too hot and will hold up for years. Cooler temp vinyl is great, but when it falls apart after a few years because it is really thin it really loses it's appeal.

The Malibu M220 (a 22 foot boat) has over 5,000 pounds of factory ballast. So sorry, but the s220 does not in fact have the most ballast out of any 22 foot boat. However, it’s definitely still a rad boat.

That’s because they include the wedge all the way down. The wedge adds 1,500 lbs of displacement. So I believe the S220 has more water weight. Both rad boats! I want this S220 so bad.

And the wedge the worst idea when it comes to improving the surf wave......and is outdated they have used it forever. Its a giant parachute dragging behind the boat, killing fuel efficiency, overworking the engine.....paired with surf gate another form of parachute. Outdated.

@@viktoriussecret I agree! It doesn’t change the shape of the wave, just the height. Definitely way outdated, doubt they’ll fix it though.

Your boat actually is 22'5" and it has 3660 ballast they claim the power wedge equals 1500 extra ballast. So the facts are correct.
