I've got 15 games of Nemesis under my belt now and it's still awesome. Just introduced it to two new people this past Friday night and we ended up playing two games back to back.

Cinematic is the best way to describe nemesis. Every time my group and I play we end up with a hilarious emergent story. Like the time only two of us were left, both running for the only remaining escape pod, surrounded by aliens. I was going to get in first but my friend tried to trip me so he could get in first because neither of us trusted the other to wait, I jumped over his trip with a card I'd been saving, triggered the ships self destruct and crawled into the pod. Gave him the middle finger through the pod viewport for trying to trip me and ejected. Leaving him to die as two aliens descended on him. Things like that happen constantly in nemesis.

Hi Alex, Nemesis is an amazing game. It is all about RISK management. That is the only way to survive to the end. Every game we play we have amazing stories to tell. Love it

For Nemesis, I was watching @RollingSolo do a playthrough and I was GRIPPED throughout the entire thing and wanted to see more each time. That's how I knew to back Lockdown and pick up the base game when it was on KS. The fact that it's fun to just watch, let alone do my own playthroughs one day, is a telling sign for me that I'll enjoy it so it's incredible hype to hear your reasons for enjoying a playthrough, because they absolutely mirror mine.

Just played Nemesis with my 11 yr old last night. He should go to Vegas. The Queen appeared and every roll, every card favored him. We both look forward to the next game.

Nemesis is definitely about the journey and experience not the end result. Every game tells a great story. At first I wanted combat to be more sophisticated, until I realized that wasn't really what the game was about. Looking forward to your take on Lockdown. Great video as usual! Thanks.

In Nemesis, try not to melee if you don't have to. Running is best for many of the characters. Nemesis is amazing! Get the Medic.

I'm a little bit sad that I didn't back nemesis lockdown because it seems like a great game, but on the other hand I was never a great fan of the alien francise. But nothing seems ks exclusive so far so I may be able to purchase it later in retail if I want it.

Nemesis is a big, complicated game. But all the mechanics make sense to the point where you can "easily" teach a full group how to play it and have a blast on the first game (even when only 1 person wins after backstabbing everyone else lol). It's so immersive and dynamic. However, I wouldn't recommend using the expansions unless you start to find the base game too easy or want to switch things up once in a while, since they add a lot of complexity and difficulty to the game that I honestly think is unnecessary. I'm beyond excited for Lockdown though!

Nemesis is my all-time fav game! Yes there is luck but the more you play it and get t know the character decks, the more strategy and timing factors in and opens up to you as well. I was firmly decided on not getting Lockdown as well but I caved today and added that to my PM. Did you get Lockdown as well?

For the record, my KS event from TMG is being completely refunded to ALL Kickstarters. I think you may have suggested that it was to those who wanted refunds. Pardon the nitpick. see "Emperor's Choice". Also remember that there were early KS event where I think there were pledge levels for a limited number? of patrons who wanted to receive all future games from TMG. "OUCH"?

Reddit minds want to know... que TMZ... regardless I wish the best for their futures where ever they may be going. I really enjoyed their board game coverage. I actually spent 6 years in Fishers, Indiana while it grew from a town of 15k to 50k... Carmel and Fishers were very nice places, Fishers had very affordable housing prices; now residing in the Miniature Market's territory. Left Indy just before GenCon arrived doh! I kinda think that maybe Minimarket should turn part of its retail store on Manchester into a recording studio and let games being played there from their Geekway to the West library be shared on KZbin (with permission from the players of course). Mini-Market maybe missing out on a marketing/monetization opportunity. To be fair maybe they already have, I haven't been back to their store since Covid started.

I watched MvM basically due to Jeremy (drakkenstrike) Salinas, so I haven't really been watching since the change :(. Also sad re TMG but writing's been on the wall for a while now. Aaand, Nemesis is fantastic. :)
