Connecting Flights Solo Review - It's Not Easy...Not Easy At All

Connecting Flights Publisher here: We made changes to passenger card costs to address Alex's point on this. We have also unlocked 6 solo & co-op scenarios during the Kickstarter campaign, which should add lots of replayability. These include the Icelandic volcano eruption, the Olympics, Low cost airlines and others. Each one introduces new, thematic rules or a specific passenger demand pattern, providing a set of 6 different challenges.

Although the mechanics are slightly different, I would highly recommend to anyone who thinks this game sounds neat (I am a Kickstarter backer, so I obviously think it's cool) should try the old SNES game, Aerobiz, from Koei.

I was attracted to the cards that tile next to each other to build routes, but that map board is too big. This seems that something that should be smaller.

Seems a bit like Pan Am meets Trekking the World. I like both those games, but not sure this offers enough new to draw me in. I've been following the kickstarter, but holding off for now.

i enjoyed trying this on on tts with the designer was going to make content myself using TTS then i had a load of physical prototypes show up that i had to prioritize its a cool game and yeah its tricky lol

I ended up passing on this one. Something just didn't grab me in the campaign. Maybe I travel too much in real life and don't enjoy connecting flights? 😣

The pink mix with light blue lots of cold colors push me out. But in the same time, look at Endless Winter, all light blue and the art is very nice. The new Cloudspire looks way cooler with a darkest blue than the 1st edition. Sky could be a lot darker they could easily add tiles to add some weather factors. Maybe an expansion later? 😊
