After all these years, I still associate "fromage" with an episode of Dexter's Laboratory (the cartoon) where he sleeps with an audio tape playing, and it accidentally loops on "omelette du fromage." The next day, all he can say is that phrase 😁 And this is despite having French classes in school where I properly learned the word hehe

Right, first things first, great video as always guys. After watching your playthrough I'm left feeling a bit like I did when you played Rattlebones, admiring some of the mechanics but not seeing any enjoyment or fun in the game. This game does beat Rattlebones which has a weird almost creepy theme, at least making cheese doesn't tick those boxes. The artwork is absolutely fantastic, and the board is so clever with its four sectors and the turntable; I really like gadgets and clever gimmicks in boardgames, and that board's as good as any! Unfortunately, to me, the gameplay looks very fiddly and convoluted, and I think Nikki hit the nail on the head when she said it didn't really need the individual player boards. Maybe if the theme was something that interested me, it might counter this somewhat, but really... making cheese..? 😴 So again, top notch video, but the game is definitely one I wouldn't even be interested in trying, let alone buying.

With three players, it's best to sit one player on the end of the table so that the board "points" at people better, if you find it difficult to keep track of which section you're playing on. With four, it isn't so bad because there isn't an "empty" section to confuse you.

Great play! I think Nikki could have won, there was a 9 point play on the last turn if she used those cows she took to make a silver soft preserve cheese in the bistro. I really enjoyed this!

Yeah, I was kind of yelling at my screen when she did not do it! :P I think it is only 6 points difference (she would gain 9 but lose 3 from the unused resources) but yeah she would have won with 63 points vs Lincoln's 62.

36:08 Am i crazy or is there an entire round edited out? One moment Nikki is thinking about getting order cards, the next moment the order card quadrant is being turned away from Amanda and towards Lincoln.
