So delightful seeing you all having fun! Oddly, this game reminds me of 7 Wonders: Architects in that the decision space is so simple, but it is so easy and quick and somehow (strangely) satisfying!
@cursivecursesАй бұрын
It's not that weird, since PlayPunk is Antoine Bauza's new publishing studio and this is their first title. I completely agree with your assessment and can see little touches that feel like Antoine added them - especially the map, feels like the cat from 7W: Architects, the exciting fun thing for younger players to fight over, even if it's not that important. (Just happened tonight when I told the game to my daughter.)

At 55:15, Lincoln should have scored an additional 2 points because he had a cartographer to go with the navigator.

Nikki was shorted 1 coin @ 21:27. She should have received 4 coins instead of 3. 2 for the navigator, 1 for the map, and 1 for the monkey when she placed it. Also @ 30:55, Aaron didnt get his coin for placing monkey. These didn't affect the outcome but scores should have been Linclon 44, Dave 38, Nikki 36, & Aaron 33.

Ιt's a fun game but is it better than Carcassone or Cascadia? Probably not, so is it worth buying if you already have those two in your collection? I suppose it depends on how many family friendly tile laying games you need.
@meganlove56812 ай бұрын
32:49 Aaron should have scored his second lookout, down at the bottom, because there is no tile above it

[EDIT]- They spotted everything I just mention here and corrected it a minute later. [Original comment] Nikki missed out on 2 points around the 50 minute mark. She played a Monkey, flipping a tile to reveal another Monkey, which revealed a navigator, and she only scored the two coin the navigator earned her. Both monkeys should have earned her a coin each. As it happens, I believe Lincoln missed out on a Monkey coin during his turn earlier that same round. Monkeys are tough to keep track of! Heh.
