CoB has been my fav game since I discovered it. This one could eclipse it. Looks like a lot of fun. Tnx for posting.

I was interested and bought this game because I have COB. I like both as they're similar yet different. It feels less intimidating than COB. Your review was very in depth at the end. I had heard rumours concerning the differences between rule books.

I would like to ask if that bunch of neutral hexagonal tiles, with the back facing down (where comes from the eight initial tiles), have any use during the game at some point? Or could we just store them back in the game box?

I'm a big fan of Castles of Burgundy and I'm trying to work out if this is sufficiently different. It seems to have a lot of similarities. I get the impression this is a game I'd be happy to play and would enjoy if someone else brought it to the table, but wouldn't want to buy myself as I already own Burgundy.

I will confess that I still haven't played CoB, so I can't compare the two. (My son had just started walking in late 2010, so I missed SPIEL '10 and pretty much all new games for twelve months, and I never caught up.) -WEM

similar in that it has tiles and is a feld. The game is driven through card-use, a different trigger for rounds, much lighter and fast. No reason why one could not own both.

@@Nain1982 ah thanks, useful info! I have a few Feld games and am usually a fan. However "lighter and fast" actually puts me off a bit. I like my complex games :) I'll definitely try it out at some point, but will hold off buying until I've managed to play someone else's copy.

is there an official errata by the designer regarding rules?
