Love watching your videos guys! Great job, funny, quick, light, and upbeat. I just wish learning how to play most of the games you recommend were half as enjoyable. I'm new to this board game world and would love your tips on how to learn new games and how to make that initial experience fun. Could be a good video theme for you guys. Thanks!

Same! 😅 My husband and I just recently decided to start playing more board games, and we've bought a few easy ones. But he wants to buy more, and we've been watching videos and researching, and I feel overwhelmed when I see some of those beautiful games, that have huge set ups and a lot of parts, and I feel that I can't grasp anything and the gamer mentions it is super easy to get into it. I feel stupid. 😅🙈 I need someone else to explain to me how to play, and we don't have anyone to play with, just the two of us.

I love that Conservas was in here. I want to play that game so desperately but I can't find it available anywhere in the U.S. Hopefully it pops up somewhere so I can finally give it a shot. Great video though! Always love discovering new games to look into!

If you've not played the team game version of Dune Imperium Uprising, I'd recommend it. Whilst the standard game never felt especially thematic for me (it felt rather mechanical), playing the team game really brought the theme out for us. It does play a bit longer as there's more discussion and more actions, but it's the discussion that really raised the intrigue, as we tried to collude to help our team win out in battles.

Uprising 3vs3 is amazing! Best way to play it if you can find 6 people who are up to it :)

I never understood the dislike of chess in the boardgame community. I love both and feel like some boardgamers might too if it didn't have such a stigma. The only downside for me would be that it is so skill dependent, so you need someone of similar skill to play it with to get the most out of it in person. If you like abstract games, just try it sometime, you might enjoy it more than you expect

@BoardGameHangover I enjoy it quite a bit. It's different from the video game but still captures the essence of the game. A run/game takes me around 1 hr and I'm playing with my 5 yo and he's focus on the game the whole time which is rare at their ages. To be noted, the game contains some errata but nothing game breaking. It's a 9.5/10 for me.

I don’t understand this video. “These are the games we played the most this year.” then, “this one, is for gamers.” Why not put in the number of plays each game got? You literally have the full tally. Then, you put up the “filler games” tittle card just to immediately show your shirt’s ad? Why not do that in BETWEEN title cards? So confusing. What was this lost supposed to be again? I just might be tired. I usually really like you guys’ videos.
