Thank you for this video! It was great to learn about Zing-a-Zam. I will definitely be looking out for it :) I only have 293 plays so far this year but I am hoping to get a lot more over the holidays! My most played games of the year are: Filler - Memoir '44 (great to get a quick game in with one friend while waiting for others to show up) Family - Wingspan (not a traditional family game but this is realistically what my parents and siblings want to play when we are together) Solo - Final Girl (I've been really enjoying the Slaughter in the Groves and the A Knock at the Door feature films) Euro - Scythe (I don't own my own copy but have three different friends who do and so get a lot of time with it) Campaign - Oath: Chronicles of Exile and Empire (16 total plays and I still can't get enough) Party - Unmatched (I have started collecting all of the sets and even organized a 16 player tournament on my birthday) 2 player - Magic: The Gathering (although sometimes I've played multiplayer formats like cube and commander, I mostly played standard this year as I really enjoyed the Wilds of Eldraine set) Happy holidays to you both and I look forward to your content in the new year!

Root is my favorite and most played game by far this year with 50 plays so far. Scythe follows that with 30 plays with about half of those from playing the Fenris campaign twice (once solo). Everdell has 14 plays (maybe half of those with one of the expansions), and Dune Imperium has 9 plays. Those are my top games. Expeditions and Apiary are up there, too with 11 and 10 plays.

Just a few plays at the beginning of the year because the game we reviewed was not our copy and we had to give it back to the owner. I'm waiting for the same KS to get back to it! Super excited!!! /JT

I noticed you listed MTG. I would also highly recommend Yugioh Speed Duel! It's a very simple and easy introduction into a popular TCG. Speed Duel is super accessible and when you buy a box, you get 8-10 pre constructed decks, which are very fun to play back and forth. It is extremely cheap (10-15 dollars for a Speed Duel box) very interactive, easy to learn, and very accessible even to those new to the game. Love it to death.

Dungeon Fighters sounds really fun, not heard of it before! The thing with dexterity games is that they can get old pretty fast - is that also the case here?

MTG is my most played game of the year. And for every year since 2012. It can easily be the only game you ever play and it will eat all of your money. Funny enough, I consider it a 4 player game more than a 2 player game since Commander is the only way I play now. Thank you for the awesome list!

Have you guys tried Dune Imperium: Uprising? The day it came I was hanging out with a bunch of friends so we tried to the six-player variant. I normally am not a fan of team games but it was honestly amazing. I loved it a ton and I’m excited to play a normal game of it soon.

Last year mrs and I entered the great board gaming hobby and we absolutely love it. Sadly we don’t have a huge collection yet. Our top 10 most played games might not be that unique to you guys but I’d still like to share: 1. Wingspan (Mrs. favourite, must keep her happy). 2. Jamaica. 3. Heat: pedal to the metal. 4. Air, land & sea (critters). 5. Jurassic Snack (don’t laugh, it got us here + it’s actually so simple and easy going). 6. Empires of the North. 7. Ark Nova. 8. Colt Express. 9. Fugitive. 10. Nemesis.
