G'day friends What are some of your favourite family weight board games that have a vividly colourful table presence? I often think that board game table presence is so important for drawing in people's interest in a board game. I also love games that have an elegant ruleset. What are some of your favourite games with a simple ruleset yet the depth of strategy is deeper than it seems? This is a safe space to chat, share your ideas, thoughts and opinions. Below I have also left a recipe for making your very own Aussie FAIRY BREAD! Ingredients Slices of White Bread 100's and 1000''s Margarine or Butter Steps 1. Spread butter or margarine evenly on your slices of white bread. 2. Pour a plentiful amount of 100's and 1000's on to a shallow bowl or dish. 3. Press the buttered bread face down into the place so that the 100's and 1000's stick. 4. Cut the bread into triangles. 5. Enjoy! :) Cheers Danny

I'm a themer for sure and need the art to be good. But my non-gamer hubby needs it even more lol He will often choose a game on its vibrancy. Like, Welkins isn't the game of the year but it attracts because of the colours. So he likes it more because of that. He might like this one because of the art as well. I'm trying to expend my library to lighter weight games so he has more choice for game nights :) This might fit the bill, we'll see what he says when he watches this. Never knew fairy bread was actually with sprinkles lol I'm a French Canadian, we don't hear about Australian culture as much as in the English world.

@@CG_Hali Yes agree. Sometimes the vibrant colour palette of a game will convince me to give it a go even it its gotten a 6.5/10 on bgg :)
