I cant wait for Enormity, im all-in also. Did you remember to perform the signature at the start & Nuclear at the end, of every Boss turn? ITU have said, the noise mechanic will be used in different mechanical ways in different boss fights and some boss fights will contain blips & minions in them also. This game has sooooo much potential!!! The last mission is fun with the upgraded gear you get to choose from and the options it opens up... just be careful of those infections!! Cant wait to watch your playthrough and see how u go 👌

@@BoardGamesUnLocked yep, im the same, ITU are amazing and u see how much they develop and change the game from the initial kickstarter is amazing. I dont own ATO, but im All-in for Twelve Sins Of Heracles, Kingdoms Forlorn & Enormity and like you i have a backlog of campaign games on my shelf and more on the way hahahaha

@ Original ATO is definitely worth picking up if you can. Especially since they now have the audio recordings. I have a Cycle 1 series done on the channel and Cycle 2 is coming

@@BoardGamesUnLocked yeah, i was thinking about picking up original ATO but i decided against it because I am all in on twelve sins, which is basically the same game and i like the theme better and how you play personalised characters that transform into the titans. I dont like in original ATO that you play these generic argonauts that pilot the titans, i just cant get into that. And the fact that TSoH & KF are sooo big, plus all my other campaign games i own and coming, i do not need original ATO, not to mention i need everything, so the cost of getting everything for original ATO i can use on other games... plus the amount of storage space required for my board games is dwindiling hahaha, same reason i dont buy Kingdom Death. There is just too many games and not enough time lol But ITU are def my fav devolper right now

Thanks, enjoyed that combat playthrough and now listening to discussion - feels different enough from ATO and love the theme… even tho I miss the roll but it does streamline things. Are you continuing the series with the Automas extraction?

Im playing the Grimcoven TTS mod atm that AR just released, you should give that a go after Enormity, i think your really going to like it, i know u like a challenge lol

Removal of the two stage attack sequence (to hit and then to wound) is only nice on the paper. Seems like it’s streamlining but in reality it is removing crucial part of strategy, is dumbing down the game and simply removing a crucial psychological component of the staged attack. Just roll to wound is a crappy solution no one asked for. As well as removing trauma decks - this game is like castrated ATO, it is more like Oathsworn 1.5 than ATO 3.0. And Oathsworn was a bullshit game already, so going that way is just like a spit in the face of gamers. That’s how I feel about it.

While I agree with your first part, it might just work here because of the overall design this game "might" have with the dungeon crawl replayability but still; I think the boss fights do suffer from guns and only hitting to deal damage. I could not disagree more that Oathsworn is a bullshit game. Lol But I also don't feel like trying to convince you otherwise so to each their own. :P
