Boarding CARNIVAL FIRENZE!! Brand NEW Cruise Ship!!

Carnival has taken two ships from its sister line, Costa, and rebranded them as ‘Carnival Fun Italian Style’! These ships are what we know and love about Carnival but have a different Italian flair to them.
I am boarding the Carnival Firenze for what was supposed to be the inaugural sailing, but is now the second. I will have a port days in Cabo San Lucas and Ensenada along with two relaxing sea days. I will share as much as I can in the layout of this new ship, the food and entertainment. Let’s GO!!

Long Beach “dome” used to house The Spruce Goose before Evergreen bought her and moved her to WA. After that the dome was empty. So Carnival either leased or bought the area from the city of Long Beach. Then turned her into their exclusive port. Moving from the San Pedro port of Los Angeles

I agree. The Greece blogs with Jason were super good. Reviewed many times. The recent blogs have lacked the quality magic interaction of travel with Jason. ( lacking in most cruise blogs )We tune in not to learn about a dog. Or dog Instagram posts. Focus lost recently.

Another great video! That dome at the port, now the cruise terminal, was built to house Howard Hughes's famous "Spruce Goose" airplane before it was moved up the coast.

Oh, those Guy's Burgers are probably THE BEST FOOD EVER on a cruise ship!! You mentioned the "String music" was on here. Is this the 3 violinists that were also on the Venezia? I think they are called Delight String Trio?? SO Amazing!! Do you have any video of them??

u for sure need to book an aft cabin! i would say do it on one of the Vista class ships since they seem to be part of the Havana area - that way u can kill 2 birds with one stone and experience both at the same time - we cant seem to book anything but aft cabins cuz as u said - the view is awesome back there! we had our first taste of Havana last sept on Horizon and it was awesome as well - am definitely considering booking the Firenze and more than likely will try to get one of the Terrazza area aft balconies - thanks for another great vid!

The ship looks amazing! Kinda jelly, since there are some additions on Firenze that aren't on Venezia (like those empanadas!) Maybe they will add that the next dry dock. It's so different not seeing Jason with you on this cruise. Can't wait to see the rest of your solo adventure!

Long Beach was kinda miserable to get into?? Had the EXACT same problem on Easter Sunday down the road a bit in San Pedro (which is technically the “Los Angeles Cruise Port”) trying to get on NCL Bliss! ABSOLUTE Nightmare!! Took 75 MINUTES TO GET FROM PULLING INTO THE FRONT GATES OF THE PORT UNTIL WE WERE ABLE TO PARK THE CAR!!

Looks like a nice ship even though it is older. Please pronounce Firenze as it is spelled not add an O after the I - thank you. As for the people sitting in front of the slot machines, I would be one of them. I actually think without a casino, I would be bored on those cruises but that is just me. To each his own I guess.
