My wife and i have been “loyal to royal” cruisers for some years now and decided to go outside the garden walls this past Sept.2024. Although our expectations weren’t too high due to the reviews and some videos we had seen we decided to take a chance and get onboard the MSC seashore out of Port Canaveral which is near our hometown. Not only were our expectations met but we had a great time and have actually booked a 2025 trip on the same ship already. It’s definitely different from Royal in some ways and things But different doesn’t necessarily means worse. We enjoyed the trip/ship very much and are going back for sure. Great video

We tried MSC shore in April and despite the bbmad reviews we've seen, we loved it! The staff was so nice, everything was so clean and beautiful, and I LOVED Ocean Cay! The only thing we didn't like was disembarking, that was a mess lol! But we're definitely gonna sail with them again!

We didn't like the elevator situation and for disembarking, we were in line at 5:30am. We didn't want to get caught in the rush. But over all, we enjoyed ourselves and will most definitely will be sailing back on MSC.

Thanks for sharing. I’m still on the fence about booking, but this video really helped me! I’ve only sailed Royal and Carnival. Carnival pissed me off and I don’t plan on booking for a while. I love RC, but they are getting expensive for my family.

You're welcome!! MSC is a LAID back ship. We were nervous at first, because we saw so many bad reviews. The price was cheap with the drink (soda) package and internet included. We were on a 7 day and the ports of call were excellent. MSC is nothing like Royal or Carnival, but we enjoyed ourselves and we will book MSC again, in spite of the elevator situation.😂 What did Carnival do?LOL!! 😂😂😂

@@OfficialWashingtons didn’t give me connecting rooms as I requested. Then the air conditioner wasn’t working in my cabin and they gave me a fan and that’s it.

Let me say MSC seashore was my 4th time cruising and my first time cruising with msc but i enjoyed my 15 days onboard the msc seashore the food was great the entertainment super great.. Friendly staff etc etc

The elevators are smart technology elevators... You choose the floor BEFORE you get on. It will assign you a car. Hope that helps...

I have a question about the drink packages. We did not drink. What are our options? Can we bring sodas on or buy them when needed? The non-alcoholic drink package was expensive. We are looking at sailing on the MSC World America at the end of August. Excited to go on a new ship.

Hello there!! We don't drink alcohol either. Our non-alcoholic drink package was included when we booked our balcony cabin. MSC don't allow you to bring any drinks on their ships, but you do have the option to purchase sodas or water on board. It would be good to call MCS customer service line to make sure. We enjoyed MSC and we will be sailing back with them in the future. Have fun my friends!!

MSC is a laid back ship, with a relaxed vibe. If you are one that prefer a live band or Caribbean music by the pool or even the party life style, you won't enjoy this ship. You will consider MSC to be boring. Will we sail on MSC again? Yes, because the ports of call made up for it and the cheaper price that we paid, included Internet & drink package, made it worth while. Well, that's my opinion.😍 We just didn't like the elevator situation.

It's a beautiful ship. It's very laid back. The vibe is nothing like on Carnival, but we enjoyed it. We visited Nassau, Montego Bay, Jamaica, Cayman Islands and Cozumel. Let me know how you enjoy MSC.

I went on the seascape . The ship was wonderful . The staff was polite respectful and knowledgeable. The food is awful. It was the same meal for breakfast , lunch and dinner for seven days.

I just got off this ship.... It is not for African Americans.. all they want us to do is spend money... To get off the ship to go home is horrific ... I missed my flight because I couldn't get off the ship to meet my PREARRANGED TRIP TO AIRPORT. Yes the ship is nice and all. I had a solo balcony room but never felt welcome on my 11 day cruise. I was so bored with this cruise I over spent in the casino I was giving a "free cruise". umm I already paid for that cruise. This ship for me/us NOT RECOMMENDED.

I purposely got up at 6 30am to get off by no later than 7 30am... I didn't get off the ship until around 9 45 am. I was so pissed cause guest service told me I could get off at 7 30am.....I had to buy another plane ticket home (spirit wouldn't/didn't refund my money). That made me hot as well. But glad you enjoyed it.

we went on the MSC seashore too, June 15-19th, and we werent impressed either...the ship is very pretty, clean...the workers were nice...but it was boring just as you said..our 18 yr old son, who we took on the cruise as a graduation present, was so bored..he was ready to go home after Ocean Cay, which is a trick to me..we spent a day and half there, but only 8 hours in Nassau.....there were probably 500 or so black passengers out of the 5000 that were there, but I didnt hear not one R&B song, or even any familiar pop songs the entire cruise....the food wasnt bad, but Im glad we had our seasonings with us, snacks too!!!
