You had Dion, one of Carnival’s best cruise directors! Those dances/songs like the Wobble are definitely an American thing but Carnival also plays them at every sail away party, so if you cruise Carnival regularly, you would know those dances.

Hey boo it's me Blair I'm really enjoying watching your carnival panorama video I love that ship it is so much fun, and of course welcome to my hometown welcome to Los Angeles baby, and I can't wait to see your video at the Queen Mary because I've been there a couple of times but I have never stayed the night, because you know it's hunted right so let's hope you don't run into any ghost on your stay lol, oh and regarding the carnival panorama celerate party, they do those dances on every Carnival ship at every sellaway party, and it's actually an American thing that actually started in the black culture, so basically all those dances that they were doing on the cruise ship on the Carnival panorama started back in the day with black people at the cookouts, because that's how we dance and that's how we get down, and of course now those dances are really popular and very mainstream, and of course on every Carnival ship lol, but Fraser if you ever want to learn any of those dances I'll teach you, because I'm really good at them In fact I'm a pretty good dancer, In fact when I was on the carnival horizon last year after sellaway party I was picked to be in the dance contest and of course I won, so they named me the queen of the Carnival horizon, so I guess when you see me you can call me your highness, anyway like I said I need to your channel and I am loving it, but it looks like I missed a lot of your travel so I have to go back and watch some of your older videos, because apparently you been all over the world, and honestly I'm very curious so I would like to know more about this sabbatical that you are taking from the corporate world, like seriously do you have a job that you're going back to next year when you're done with all your travels lol, anyway it's me Blair and I just wanted to say hello, and oh yeah did you write twisted Colossus at six flags Magic Mountain, because it's one of my favorites but honestly I love every roller coaster at six flags, and you should have went to Knott's Berry farm as well because that's a very nice theme park, if actually my favorite I love six flags Magic Mountain but Knott's Berry farm is incredible, anyway I'm rambling as usual so I apologize for the long message but you'll get used to them lol, anyway once again it's me Blair just saying hello okay that part!*🏳️‍⚧️🏳️‍🌈👍🏾🚢🛳️⛴️👋🏾😍💃🏾🕺🏾🎢

Split bathrooms with a small tub are great for families with children too small to use a shower. Disney Cruiselines has them. American line dancing, it’s called, but these seem like what Carnival does specifically. Look up some KZbin videos on line dances like the Electric Slide, Cuban Shuffle, Tush Push, etc.! Surprised they have cabins on deck 1; thought that was generally for crew. Too crowded, loud and too many people for me, but Carnival fills a niche, and I like the Captain’s letter, sensory ratings and concise printed details they left you. I always take magnets too. I just got home from a 30-day South American cruise and will take me a while to recover. We had a great solo-traveler group, though. Hope you will too. Going on a land tour of Scotland myself May 2-11! Dungeons and Dragons is a cult computer game. Looks like good entertainment, so hope you enjoy yourself! Not very inspiring food, but the pizza looks good! Glad you got to see a little of California before the cruise.

Hey Cheri, I’m so excited for your Scotland trip - please keep me updated on that one! I love to here from people who enjoy their time over here! You’re not the first person to mention the electric slide in these comments - you’re right! Re deck 1, I was surprised too, and was even more surprised to learn there are decks down below this one for the crew - I always thought deck 1 was the bottom floor! Thanks for watching, as always!

We tried our first Carnival cruise after 11 on other lines (mainly Disney & Royal Caribbean) for New Year’s and while we really liked many things, likely won’t cruise with Carnival again. We were on the Mardi Gras.Beautiful ship. However, crowds everywhere.Lines everywhere.Never experienced lines to this extent on a cruise ship before and we have cruised on larger ships. It was likely due to a holiday sailing but stil.If we cruised as much as you,we’d go on Carnival here and there but usually cruise 2x a year and would rather choose other lines. Anyway. Looking forward to your experience! There really isn’t such a thing as a bad cruise!

Thanks so much! I did find California expensive for cruising, but I always offer ‘be flexible’ as my top tip. 🙏🙏🙏🙏 Glad to see you make your way to California. The Southern CA terminals are a bit fresher and newer than the Northern CA terminal in SF (my home). Question: On your journeys do you sometimes pause and reflect how far you are away from home? I do quite often when staying in Europe as it is quite a way from home. You will find Carnival dispenses with the formalities and believes in cruising as you wish. Look forward to the series.
