I work on ships and the pilot is actually in the bridge telling the ships crew where to go, the little pilot boat is his ride back to shore.

The Indulge food hall is pretty neat place to dine when you can order from all the different stations. I do remember that area on the Primo being so busy at first. I love NCL!

Love how real and down-to-earth you guys are. Just back from Sky Princess - our best Princess cruise - but were surprised by a couple things we hadn’t heard vloggers talk about. Btw, the newest Princess ships also have that sky walk - freaky - lol! All the ressies you have to make on embarkation day, anticipating what you want to do when, is a bit overwhelming. Like a Disney World vacation. 😮

I just cruised on the Norwegian Escape and there was little to no NCL merchandise in the store as well. Very disappointing. Great video.

Hi, Sharon. So sorry about the Viva ship model. We sailed on the Viva in early November from Rome, and they had two shelves of the ship models. When we sailed on the NCL Dawn last year in May around the British Isles, the shops only had Caribbean leftovers, nothing to do with our cruise. They are the worst cruise line in our experience for souvenirs. Come on, NCL, step up your shopping game. Not everyone wants just high-end shops! Enjoy the Viva! We loved it! Emmy

@@SharonatSeaTravel Yes, we had a fantastic Western Mediterranean cruise! The new Viva is beautiful, but the only problem we had is some of their entertainment venues such as Syd Normans, are extremely small. We had to wait in line at least 30 minutes before shows such as Rumours to get a seat. They did not take reservations. Hope you can see it. It was well worth it! Emmy

We are platinum members on NCL but we have only been on one ship during the NFL season and they did show the Thursday night game and the 1 pm & 4 pm games on Sunday. We are going on the NCL Epic on Sunday January 7th and they better have some games on and more importantly on the 8th is the National Championship game. I am buying the unlimited streaming WIFI just in case, lol!

We boarded Saturday and there were no College Conference Championship games on!! Sunday they had one early and one late game and the evening game on in the cabin and I recall in the Local. Same with MNF game.

So you guys have always loved the Carnival vibe, and maybe even RC. Who provides a better vibe/bang for your vacation days and $$: ncl prima/viva, RC Celebration/Mardi Gras or an Oasis ship?

When I was on the Prima in May, I too noticed they didn't have a lot of logo items. I always like to get a Christmas tree ornament from any ship I'm on and I didn't see any on the Prima. I hope when I go on the Viva in 2025 they will have some

On the Prima and/or Viva, is there another dining venue that’s open on embarkation day? On the Breakaway class ships (and a couple of the Breakaway Plus class), aside from the buffet, Taste & Savor are open on embarkation day for lunch, so we never had to struggle to find a table at the buffet.
