Boarding our BIGGEST Cruise Ship! Royal Caribbean Odyssey of the Seas 2023

This week we swapped our RV for a cruise ship! We boarded the Royal Caribbean Odyssey of the Seas out of Fort Lauderdale, Florida for a 6 night cruise. This is the BIGGEST cruise ship we have ever been on! Join us as we show you around the ship, our balcony room, and all the food we ate! My wife and I booked our first time on the oasis for this September. And we’re taking our daughter on her first cruise.my wife and I sailed on the Mardi Gras .really nice ship but there activities we had to pay and there ships don’t have Starbucks. I’m so happy royal has Starbucks and there activities are free!😊

We want to try the Mardi Gras sometime! You do have to pay for some activities on the Odyssey but some of its free on port days. I’m sure y’all will have a great time on your cruise 😊

I want to try out that class of ship as well as the oasis. I personally always go with the interior room for the cheapest option because i am never in there😂😂😂

This was our first time on this class and it did not disappoint! We were about to do an interior as well but the balcony was the same price as an interior on this cruise so we took advantage of it!

@@FirstStateCamper nice! I’ve had similar happen on a few of my sailings so i always take the upgrade if available. They’ve upgraded me to ocean view and interior promenade. One day ill try out a balcony

Why do you prefer Royal Caribbean over Norwegian? I’ve done Royal Caribbean and loved it but am looking at Norwegian for an Alaskan cruise. Just curious on the differences.

Michael has been on Norwegian before but I have not. We don’t necessarily prefer Royal over other ones, we just book with which was the best price/dates/itinerary. We are looking into doing an Alaskan cruise as well and are going to compare between Carnival, Royal, and Norwegian. We have always wanted to go on one of the huge Royal Caribbean ships and it just worked out this time with the right dates and cost. We almost booked a Norwegian before booking with Royal! Hope this helps!
