that's completely normal!!! everyone is new at some point but getting involved in some clubs and sports early on will help with this!

Don't underestimate the weight that your SAT score can hold, definitely kill it in the interview, and keep reaching out to the schools and showing interest (stay in touch)

it really depends. If you want a merit scholarship then you're probably gonna have higher grades. Also, A lot of people get recruited for sports.
