Wonderful to see you like it! I went on a test cruise for it (the last ever test cruise for the wish) which was wild since there were many places on the ship that were being built such as 2 rooms in oceaneers, the toy story splash pad being built still, and the aqua mouse in its first operations! The imagineers did a great job designing the ship and in my opinion on my voyage it was amazing! (Also all the social distancing features on the wish weren’t intended on the ship during test voyages). Also here is a tip if you have a friend or family who is an employee you have a possible chance on getting free test voyages that are 3 day voyages. This was supposed to be our 36th DCL cruise b2b but we tested positive in-between and had to drive back to Lake Placid Fl 2 hours away. You asked for comments if you've ever sailed on a Disney cruise line so here is mine. I sailed the Disney Magic during her inaugural year and it was the first Disney cruise ship actually made by disney. They previously were sailing on The Big Red Boat which is a boat they bought from Carnival and made it theirs while Disney was building its first ship the Disney Magic.... it was truly a magical experience. I've not had the pleasure to be on a Disney ship since but I'll never forget the experience that my daughter and I had. Disney is top notch.

We're booked on the Wish for the Halloween sailing this year. 4 nights was about £2250 for a verandah room, and that included ground transfers worth about £120. The older ships are a little cheaper too. So Disney Cruise Line is one of the more expensive cruise operators, but they're not the even close to the most expensive. Norwegian and Fred Olson are both a lot more expensive. What's interesting about the Wish this year (because it's new) is that Inside cabins were not much cheaper than the Outside and Verandah cabins. When we booked even Inside cabins were around £1950, so there wasn't much of a price gap.

You can request to sit with just your stateroom at dinner if you decide you don’t want to sit with other people. You just have to do it ahead of your cruise or at guest services on embarkation day.

Surprised to see that tables at 1923 were seated family-style, actually. Some nice finishes. Otherwise, a good introduction to the new Disney ship. Still honestly waiting to see the justification to make this that much more premium and "expensive" than Royal Caribbean (or Celebrity), for example. Wonder of the Seas was hugely impressive right from the first glimpse. Eager to see more!

You’re just going to have to try it for yourself. Go on a short cruise. Watching through a lens isn’t the same experience. I love Disney cruises. As for justification, I’d rather go on a classy well-maintained ship than going on a cheaper cruise like Carnival or RC so I can witness shipboard fires, collisions, burst sewage pipes, stranded ships and of course, the daily drunken brawls. That’s not what I want to deal with on a vacation. I don’t care how cheap it is.

Kyle and his group went on Wonder, as have other vloggers, and would agree that it was well-maintained and classy, and hardly cheap! Kyle and JoJo got a great deal on this cruise as well. Further, Kyle was disappointed with the pizza, and liked his pasta more than the filet mignon. I don't doubt Disney had a nice ship but as they said at the start, it's an expensive line (and the title says most expensive) ... and it's not a comparison to Carnival. Let's hope no drunken brawls, between cast members or otherwise 😝 Again, eager to see more ....

The AquaMouse hasn't received the highest reviews, several videos. I guess people have this cult vibe going for the brand though. Must be nice to have the $ to be so selective 😆

I was on a Disney Cruise yrs ago on the Wonder out of Port Canaveral. I was also on the Disney Magic in 2019 being a TCM Cruise w/the hosts & special guests out of NYC to Bermuda. Been on a number of cruises, never Disney. RCL, NCL, Carnival. For what a 3 night on DCL would have cost, we had an entire 7 day Alaska cruise with NCL. For us, I really couldn't justify the cost of DCL. Maybe, for a family with kids, a DCL cruise is a way to meet Mickey without dealing with the hell-hole that WDW has become (Thanks, Bob).

Interesting picture of Marcelene MO market on the Disney wall. My father-in-law, who is in his 80s now, grew up in Marcelene. Later in the 70s he was one of the engineers chosen to install AT&T phone system in the underground tunnel work areas at Disney World, He sat in meetings with Walt Disney's brother, who ran a lot of the business activities at Disney.
