Whole household in your little residence. Very neat and organized! You know where everything is. That's amazing. Your cabin is cleaner than the majority of houses that people own - from what I've seen on You Tube, I will never understand the ways of the world when it comes to their homes. If you feel a little crowded, you've got the huge ship to walk, swim, exercise, relax, dine, read, etc. You definitely have the best of both worlds.

If you ever did camping or lived in an RV you can live with 1/4 of this stuff. Less equals more. I only travel with a backpack & personal item and did so for 6 months all across Europe. However, I have an upcoming trip onQM2 and this will be the first time I'm traveling with a checked piece of luggage too because I need formal wear and will be on several cruises for 2 months.

Your videos are very informative professional and yet lead us to see a part of your comfortable life aboard this cruise ship. Many great tips and organizational tools and glad it works for you. I am not a minimalist at home, but trend that way traveling. Then we have another cabin for 4 days. Then another one for 11 days. Then we’re on land for a full 10 days before we get back on Coral Princess for another 14 days! I just got an extra small suitcase and hit the charity shops for more things to wear at dinners. We have also packed 6 small magnets and 4 heavy duty ones. As well as a half-dozen magnetized bag clips. We’re going to rely on the ship’s laundry except for my delicates (we have Elite status which means free laundry). We only have 8 or 9 pairs of shoes between us so the closet floor will have do. I’m glad to hear you can use your VPN with the ship’s wifi. As well as using the TV as a second monitor. Your organization is off the charts! I watched one of your videos early on when you did a similar walkthrough. It’s SO good! My question is: have you gained weight, lost weight or maintained your weight? I’m afraid that I would gain so much that I’d have to buy all new clothes! But there’s another gentleman who has been living on cruise ships for almost a year and he recently lost about 30 pounds by watching what he eats and walking around the ship each morning. Is getting healthier part of your plan while on the ship?

We signed up for the full world cruise at the beginning. So we do not have to move out. Other people signed up for segments or mini legs and it’s possible their rooms change with each cruise so they have to move. Thanks for sharing. You brought a lot of things that make life comfortable. i like how everything has its place. I'm going on a 25 day cruise. You've given me some ideas that I can use, like the baskets and magnetic clips. Continue to enjoy your cruise.

I’m building van for my retirement. You are giving me so many good ideas. There are so many things you don’t think about before you start living in a space. I have a year before my van will be ready so I’m going a bit crazy thinking about what I need/want. Because I won’t have a ship to escape out into I will need to keep it less cluttered but I still need to cover many of the same functions. Don’t know where I’ll hang my “flirty” clothes 🤣, love that term.

Glad it's all helping. Our next adventure is probably going to be an RV after the world Cruise. Safe Travels!

two questions... 1) Nancy, where did you get your outfit? love the shirt and pants. 2) did you do anything to make th mattress more comfortable? I've been on a trans-Atlantic cruise with RC and didn't find the bed/mattress very comfortable. Thanks!

Thank you. The outfit came either from Amazon or Costco. And we did request a mattress topper to add a little cushion to the mattress and make it a little more comfortable. They did replace the mattresses right before the cruise.

First time viewer here. You guys have probably covered this before but did you do a lot of cruising previously to this world cruise? It seems like you guys did your homework and knew what you would need and how to keep it all organized. We’ve done a 4-day cruise (Caribbean) a 10-day cruise (Alaska) and now we’re about to do a 14-day repositioning cruise to Japan. If the 14-day doesn’t feel like too much, our goal is then try like a 30 or 45-day cruise. Eventually working our way up to a year long cruise. It was nice to see you guys making it work. Happy Travels!

We had done less than a dozen cruises before the world cruise. And our longest cruise before this was seven days.

Wow! The hidden gem for me was the bottle brush! Going on my shopping list. I usually do a vigorous “martini shake” but this will be a much more thorough cleaning. It’s been 7 months since our last cruise - I’m ready to sail again!

Love your travel experiences. I have booked a world cruise in January 2026 which goes to many of the same ports so your insights are helpful. This video is particularly interesting from a practical standpoint. Still raises nots of questions I would like to discuss with you when you return. Keep the videos coming!!
