Funny I didn't notice creaking, or a bad coating, or a bad wireless connection. My first lightweight and wireless mouse, I love it! Big upgrade over the 2014 Naga I was using. That's nice that the VXE and others are potentially so much better though.

have you tested the latency? because if you're using 1000hz an have 5 ms or less latency u wont notice anything(atleast i dont)

Coming from an HTM Ace wireless. Lost the dongle ages ago and my setup is not conducive to using the cord. I tried to purchase a replacement dongle and all of their replacement dongles are sold out and my budget is on the low end currently. I found the 1k on sale for 25 bucks and im actually rather excited to try it out. Hope it works out well

On sale for $30 its a hell of a deal. paw3395, nordic, huano switches it has the same internals as a lot of higher end mice. Go figure a guy with 10 mice on his desk is going to complain about every tiny thing he does not like about it especially when comparing it to mice hes used that cost $300+ lmao. Could also be you got a bad one because half the things you complain about like slam clicking and weak creaky shell no one else has complained about in their reviews.

I enjoy mine for the price. It's not my main driver, but I'd keep it in mind as a gift for my nephew type thing. I also have very large hands as a 6'3" man, and that extra length at the back is surprisingly nice for me.

Did the LOD feel super high for you with the stock feet? That was the one thing performance wise with this mouse that threw me off. Installed some dots which were thicker and that solved the issue. Also there’s a long range setting for the dongle in the redragon software that everyone should toggle as it makes the 1k/2k polling much more stable.

They also have a 617 Fizz Magnetic Switch option that's basically a Wooting for $69 (nice). Great tech, but is loud and clacky, though I modded mine out to sound pretty good after the fact (lube, switch pads, tape mod, and like 3-4 layers of foam in the tray). Still might get HE Jades tho

Idk about the magnetic switch one, but the one that comes with red switches is horrible for gaming. It can't detect inputs that last less than 30ms and it therefore fucks up counter strafes on the regular. I returned mine immediately lmao.
