I admire his desire to pass along his knowledge to others that don''t have the means to afford a 'real' home but shows them a very workable alternative - the shipping container. This actually brings me to tears. Evan is speaking to my heart - my husband and myself have found ourselves renting again in our 50's and have worked so hard all our married life. Thank you Bryce for what you do and the genuine interest and care you give to the people you showcase. I look forward, and hope beyond hope, that Evan does manage to build these homes. Because we can then have a home again.

I've wanted to live in a tiny house since I was 16 and have gone between a bus and a shipping container a car and a van. I finally decided on a wooden modified yurt for a while and then later on I'm going to build a 2 story shipping container with a pantry so I'll never feel the worry of homelessness again. I'm going to make my own home very very soon.

I know Evans loved his wife very much and cherishes her memory. From the photo we saw, we can see that she was a sweet and beautiful woman. Still, I hope one day he will find a nice woman to share his life with. Maybe he is perfectly happy alone, but that one chair on the balcony made me a little sad.

This is clearly a bachelor space. A woman would interfere. (OK - I would. Because that chair, no! Also - sleeping in the kitchen - typical man idea, lol.) But he seems to be in such a good spot in life, enjoying himself. Finding a soulmate is never a given and if you are not happy with yourself, another person can only try (and probably fail) to fill a gap that you should work on.

I've seen many container homes that lean towards the modern/industrial designs all around but I absolutely love how he brings in these natural elements. The natural wood, the fossils, the styling... awesome. Really blends well and turns this into something completely different. And this man just radiates with love for what this is to him. These videos have a knack for showing the personality these people have put into their homes and it's not something you see anywhere else.

Even though I already live in a THOW, I admire this guy and his work. Now I just want a good source for 20' high-cube open-side containers in the USA!

Since he's a boat builder, he has the advantage of knowing how to take advantage of every bit of space. I really enjoyed seeing how different the inside was from the outside metal container. It was quite a surprise. Personally I would need double the amount of space, but if I was able to even think I could go the route of container living, I would want this man to design it for me!

Just yesterday, Sept 2, 2019 , I saw the first part of this video. I asked what Evans planned on doing with 2 other shipping containers I saw in the first video. Thankfully, a viewer saw my comment and led me to this video. I see you have the link of that first video here but can you link this video on the first video? Absolutely outstanding work Evans has done with these containers. Also, as for Evans new “hobby” ARE YOU KIDDING ME? That’s a new career! He found something else to do since he was no longer able to do strenuous work after his heart attack. I’m so sorry to hear about the heart attack but so happy he found something he loves as a hobby. Phenomenal work, Evans!! He needs his own channel!!

The kitchen space and all the timber craft is just wow! Every space and fixtures are personally design to evans taste. Workspace on the ground floor is amazing and perfect also. But the best spot in Evans house is the veranda and the porch- perfect for morning, afternoon, and evening coffee and reading while enjoying nature and the view. It's just great
