Fished off fleetwood clevelys since the mid 70s and back then we never caught any doggies even in the summer months, but now a days they are just a pain in the arse and there seems to be more of them each year,

that's almost hand to believe with the amount there are about today iv just had my first one of the year and i think in the last 3 years they have gotten here earlier each year as well if this continues then we will be see them for the full 12 months in the coming years on the beach

hi Philip on this trip apart from the feathers i fished a zip slider on the main line with a 8-12oz ball weight (depending on the tide pull) to a swivel then genie clip with 25lb snood to 4/0 hook most of the day
