God forbid these people just fillet the skin off of the fish like an American. Use surgical tools and make it as difficult as possible, per British tradition.

I put two and a half months of work in to my barred owl.... would ALWAYS fly to my hand in the enclosure with a glove, had not tagged him yet. I go away for 9 days and have someone else feed him and instead of doing it by hand throws everything on the ground. The bird was ruined in 9 days. I came back and owl wanted nothing to do with me. Would only look at the ground. Then comes two days ago. I'm cleaning the enclosure and same person decides to hold the door open while I'm literally protesting and trying to shut the enclosure door owl gets out. I have spent two days now looking for my bird. It was in the neighbors yard yesterday and just would not come to my hand for food at all. I can't find my bird now and it's killing me.

i just brought a 8 months old eagle owl 5days ago and he's an wild owl and hacted or raised by any other human. Can u give me tips to how i can make attachment with my owl and be his friend ? he eats by my hand also yesterday when my frd picks him up he starts making baby owl cheering voices by looking at me :)
@lifeofgazfishing18735 ай бұрын
Yeah just keep hand feeding him and let him come to you rather than you going into his personal space and he should start getting a good reinforcement history and start seeking you out works for me

@lifeofgazfishing187310 ай бұрын
Thanks 👍 if your struggling with biting but he will hand feed from you you could try asking for a behaviour that the bird already knows before the biting starts and use the behaviours to give him a better option than biting as it will get to the seeds down the route of cooperation rather than aggression hope that helps

Nice shot of the bird eating that fish. Never see the birds catching any small fish. I have seen small fish recently having not seen any for years. Definitely still carp in there but not seen any other big species of fish. I see the carp off of the 2 bridges this July and still lots of Terrapins about sitting on the logs and sometimes you'll see them just swimming about.

Yeah there are the carp iv never fished for them, pike as in the video, there is 1 catfish iv seen pictures of, but there are also some roach, and lots of perch, I did a video float fishing and coulght loads of small perch it looks to be a fairly healthy ecosystem in that lake

I still don't know the difference between a dab, plaice and flounder
@lifeofgazfishing1873 Жыл бұрын
Dabs are the best to tell apart as they have a ruff texture to the scales if you run your finger from tale to head, plaice and flounder aren't as easy but place you can see the herring bones on the white side a bit, have a smaller mouth to head size and a more rounded tail. flounder have a solid white side without seeing any herring bones, a bigger mouth to head size, and a more square end to the tail hope that helps.
