Boat Haul Out, Inspection, Maintenance

Yes, I still have my boat! It's time to give it a bit of TLC too. In this video, I have the boat hauled, bottom cleaned and a little bit of maintenance done. I talk about what sacrificial anodes are and how to change them. Just good ole boat yard stuf!

Hello, Im curious. Is your home port at the Bald Ridge Marina? Im asking because i just bought a boat in Bald Ridge marina. I just did a haul out 2 weeks ago. But it wasn't at the same location you had yours done. It looks like a different marina than i used. Oh wow! I just realized you and i both have a Wellcraft! Beautiful boat sir!

Nice video. But unbelievable that you left him in the water for 6 years in a row? In the Netherlands, the boats go out of the water every year, especially if the polyester is polyester. Your ship has beautiful lines. What brand is it? Greetings Frank.

It is a 1988 Wellcraft 3400 Gran Sport. I am fortunate that I keep it on a fresh water lake and it is very clean. There is no way that I could do that in salt water or in a lake that was not so clean. Of course, my lake also never freezes so that is not an issue either. Thanks for watching!

Interesting video. Is there much difference in maneuverability with a inboard vs I/O?

@@mefca There is more weight forward so the boat planes a little easier and the pivot point for turning is also different since the props are under the boat and not behind it.
