I think the Marine Police, Sheriffs and Auxiliary Coast Guard need to stationed at the exit to the Inlet and insure that children are wearing life jackets. If not, turn them back to the marina and give them ONE WARNING. AFTER THAT, A TICKET FOR EVERY PERSON NOT WEARING A PFD.

I swear there needs to be law's are just have parent's be held accountable. Life jackets are there for a reason I don't care if the kids know how to swim or not but being a parent of 6 kiddos I can tell you I always make them wear a life jacket rather they like it or not.

Conclusion: after watching Boats vs Haulover for years, the best boats for Haulover is... Deep-V. Other hulls work great for calmer water, but you can't count on that for Haulover. Deep V is all-purpose and can handle the big waves (in the hands of a good skipper).
