So peaceful . I especially love the shimmering water. I assume, because you nearly always do water in these colours , that that is the colour of the sea where you are. Unfortunately here in the UK we're not quite so lucky!!

HI Jessica, thank you so much🌸🤗and it may be easier for you to start with more looser watercolors, that sort of automatically forces you to let go... it's easy to get trapped in a "detail" when you do have a somewhat "detailed" painting. For the most part I do half and half in my paintings.. you can also try to do that? focus on one area and let everything else be blurry, I often do that with my animals.. the center is their face and the rest - let go☺️🌹
