Two of our favourite places visited in todays episode but having said that the south coast is all pretty amazing. Having a boat adds so much to the trip, certainly beats beach fishing. The dolphins were amazing and watching the boys was even better.

Table salt is better for boiling food like vegetables and mashed potatoes. Sea salt for steak and roast vegetables. Pink salt is just fancy salt.

Guys, have a look at getting a drawbar extension for the boat. They are worth their weight in gold for beach launches and recovery. The comparison between the two camps for the cook-off was hilarious - a tip for the smoke alarm is to put a ladies shower cap over it - your welcome Nic 😂😂😂 I seriously start playing "deflation roulette" every time Nic heads for a beach 🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️ Another great episode.

Another great video guys...but for the people telling you to use Himalayan salt, yeah give that a miss. The reason its pink is due to the trace mineral content which also includes lead and cadmium and you guys are crazy enough

Do not use salt at all!!! is my moto. Food doesn't need it as most foods have enough salt already in it. The Himalayan salt has impurities in it to give it the colour, so I would steer clear of that. Is it safe to eat? Yes of course. but you have to ask...If I don't need salt in my diet, why do I need impurities? I love the fishing comp. Those two girls will make fantastic wives to some lucky fellas one day! I love WA beaches. How come you didn't cook up the cuttle fish? Do you check to see which fish carry the ciguatera poison and avoid catching them? Or do you just choose to catch the smaller fish that haven't accumulated enough to make you sick?

I gave up salt and sugar 40 years ago, and now I have trouble eating anything that is salted as I can taste the salt in everything anyway. My taste buds have become more sensitised. My training as a geologist has me thinking: Why do we eat rocks anyway? LOL. But it does make food taste nicer, so there's that.

Awesome video as usual guys and me mate Olly :) Nick, not sure on your electrical setup but you can put a DCDC charger from your alternator to your house batteries.. I believe you have a 24v 80A alternator. Victron are bringing out the new Orion XS 24v/24v and 24v/12v versions later this year.. They're way better then the old models better efficiencies and run a lot cooler.

38:15 Saxa Iodized salt is cheaper and better for your health. Saxa doesn't over treat it's salt with sodium iodide or potassium iodide, so there's no chance of side effects. That said. people with Hyperthyroidism need to avoid iodized salt. Great ep, thanks! ✅✅
