I'm in Northern Indiana, just a few miles south of lake Michigan, and during the summer, we live on ours at our marina, depending if North winds aren't too bad, we will go on a venture along the coast line from Chicago to Michigan! We definitely look forward to the warm weather!

Get a $25 pressure adjustment gauge and set it to 25PSI. 25 is safe as the max is usually 50PSI for older equipment.

Remember the chain is what holds the boat, not the anchor. Put 3x the chain vs the depth of the water. the anchor dies hold but the chain helps it lock in and stay.

Cooking definitely steams up the cabin quick but no smells really linger, I open up the door when i cook. And my parents live close by for now so I do laundry there

Its been forever since i been up that way. Grew up in Glassport and moved away down south when i was 13 in the 1900's lol...... if you are ever towards i think Brian calls it Turtle bay by river rd (not for sure, like i said, its been awhile since i been home) and see a party at the river's edge, just ask for Brian or Melissa D'Angelo and im sure theyd let yall hang out and party with them

I notice that you are not in a slip at the marina. Are you just on a short term lease per say? Also, don't sweat the cost of that laptop repair, it's just a bit more then a tank of gas in that boat! You got this.

I have lost so many things to the water while boating. They make floats for virtually everything these days. Sunglasses, phones etc. Not sure if you have a place to hang a hammock. I loved sleeping in one on our sailboat. Now it’s time to get a dog!

You’re supposed to use a rv pressure regulator inline so you don’t blow. It’s the same plumbing as in a camper

My MacBook board got fried somehow. I have the Asurion home protection plan. I filed a claim and they replaced it after they determined they could not fix it. Once I got the replacement, I gave it to my wife and bought to the latest MacBook Pro with the M3 Max chip. So worth a try to save yourself some money. Deductible was a 100 bucks

Far too many RV and boat plumbing systems use PEX fittings for braided poly lines and they ain't never gonna' work properly! PEX fitting should only ever be used with PEX plastic lines (rigid and red or blue or white). Braided poly lines must use barbed fittings and proper clamps -- all else is a monumental waste of time.
