Can anyone explain how a 46yr old man who never went anywhere near Cambridge was allowed to row? no wonder the Oxford crew looked pissed!

He's studying for a Phd there.

He’s doing an MPhil, and it’s not even land economy, which is what rowers usually do at Cambridge because it’s easy

He went there for a year to do a masters course, since he never did one before as he left education to train full time with the GB squad.

Yes definitely worth checking out. In the background of this video is Fulham football grounds and, maybe more to your liking, is a church that featured in The Omen?

Hey I'm going to have my first ever race next week in a single. I am 15, 189 cm, 60kg and I've only been rowing for six months. Any tips for the race?

Owen Keating the Cambridge 'b' crew is named goldie (the Oxford one is 'isis'). I'll leave Gotham with you. 😉

Used to listen to the boat race on the radio in the 1950s they made it sound really exciting but watching on tv shows what a boring event it really is.
