Boat Show 2020: Em-Trak AIS Transponders & Receivers

Hi Jeff!! I would like to be sure that the EmTrak B921 is compatible with my Garmin EchoMap Chirp53dv. I read in its menu the Ais option, and I read in the compatitibility list that is compatible with the Ais blackbox of AisGarmin. However, being a different brand I am still a little nervious about spending some money in something nobody is telling me it will work. According with my research it will but... you know... I wish someone tell me, Dont worry you will be fine it will work!!!!

If your Echomap is NMEA 2000 or NMEA 0183 compatible you should be able to utilize the B921 as it will share AIS data over either network. Anyone else had experience with this pairing ?
