I can't agree more with you. His knowledge reflects well on his understanding of the industry and boat ownership.

I absolutely adore that metal railing at 9:57, the slope and reflection on it leaves me speechless. I can't begin to describe the full extent of how magnificent, mystifying the metal railing is. Straight out the imagination of a fairy tale. I can say that its perfectly angled shining with a reflection, placed right in the golden sunlight, but those simple details alone fail to show the metal railing to its full extent. Thank you for helping me realize that there still is beauty, and sights to see in this world.

We totally agree and love to find the hidden details of a beautiful boat. Joe was very informed about Ed Monk and we loved we were able to capture his knowledge and he shared with us. For us that is what really sets the owners perspectives apart from typical boat tours, their passion! Thank you so much for watching and commenting, it really means so much to us. The Crew~

Awesome boat and great tour! Wishing many hapy miles. If I may add a quick safety note: Anchor and ground tackle are the second most important system on your boat after the hull.. It's your last line of defense against washing up on the rock, shore, or other hazard in the event of an engine failure. The bare minimum on chain is a boat length. to be safe you should at the very least double it. Your comments on upgrading to an anchor with better holding on a variety of sea beds is also true for our local sand. It is not the anchor that holds you but the chain. It is imperative that the angle of pull to your anchor on the sea bed is parrallel to the sea bed. With only 30' on that boat you are going to pull the anchor up in a blow unless you have hundreds of feet of line out. In our small shallow coves that means you will be hitting the Mega Yachts in La Playa, the golf Course in Glorietta or the rocks anywhere else... Simple fix, get 75' of chain and put it on there. Bobs yer uncle and you're sorted.... Happy Motoring ...

Dave, thanks for watching and commenting. I know Joe replaced his ground tackle after we shot the boat tour, he added chain length and replaced the anchor with a Rocna. He now keeps the old anchor as a back up or stern anchor.
@joelovejoy79983 жыл бұрын
Yup I sure did! Now I have an oversized (golden!) Rocna and more chain! Held like an absolute champ over 4th of July with another trawler rafted up!

Be careful with those padlocks you ought to lock them up because somebody could come by and lock you in your own boat. Course you could probably get out one of the hatches but just very inconvenient. Sorry to see you cracked your side window. It's a nice boat you did a really good job restoring it. My dad had a marine trader 37 it was a beautiful boat just like yours I love trawlers too I'm assuming you got 300 gallon tank for the fuel.. we had that on ours and we had 150 gallons of water it had a cruising range of about 1200 miles at 8 knots

I love it!.,!., so beautifully made. I love trawlers favorite style of yacht. I thought trawlers you Could walk all the way around, no back cabin, and the profile dips lower as it goes aft??? Sure I’m wrong but still love them!

@@BoatTourTv can’t wait! Subscribing! My favorite of all time! Understated, classy, with no need to look like a drug runner! A pure yacht in every sense of the word! It says “I have nothing to prove to you, but good breeding,”. PS. Do like them just a bit longer, say 65 to 75 ft.

The solar fan that you have on the bow seems very low to the deck, is there any problem with water entry through the vent openings due to wave action and heavy rain? Also, are your happy with the size? Seems like it would be too small to vent the entire boat. I am thinking about adding 1 or more to my CHB 34.

Sticky door. I removed the door and cut a 1/2 wide dado and put in a strip of polyethylene. Now the door rides on that and not the wood. 3 years later 👌
