I remember when I was just starting college stumbling on your channel and watching you get the first deliveries of those massive sheets of steel 10 years ago. At the time I thought you were crazy but figured I'd subscribe and see where it goes. Over the years watching this project has been an inspiration and has been a quiet motivation in the back of my mind that has helped me work on so many ambitious projects of my own. Thank you for doing this. Bon Voyage Seeker!

I don't have anything to do with you but for watching you build the SV Seeker for the last 9 years from half way around the world in Australia, I do not understand why I feel so exited and happy for you! It's like the seeker is like a kid standing on the side of the pool and can't wait to jump in making the biggest splash possible. 🎉🎊🥳 ⛵🌊🐳

Wow!! I can't figure out what amazes me more. What you have achieved with drive and ambition or that these last 10 years of my life flew by in a blink of an eye.. I began watching your journey as you were lifting flat sheets of steel up off the ground to form the hull.. What you have achieved Doug is nothing less than amazing. Best wishes in all you do. So close yet so far still.

Were you the river towboat that went by the party last night? You should've pulled up to our dock to give us party goers a good look at your boat. Seeker was supposed to be tied up at that dock but a little red tape got in the way. Seeker should be in the water early this week. I wish I could've stuck around to see it go in the water.... but I'm not a Seeker crew member so I wouldn't have had access to see it even if I did stay in town.
