That yellow hand drawn ferry in Lainio is a cool experience indeed! I've only passed through there with other riders, so we've been at least 4 persons manning the sticks. Must've been a decent workout to get it across on your own! Nice video series of the Swedish TET! I hope the incredibly stupid reindeer in the area wasn't too annoying. I found it really weird that as soon as you enter Finland the reindeer over there seem to be twice as smart as the Swedish ones and actually move the heck out of the way when you approach. I think it's because the Swedish Sami use motorbikes more when they herd the reindeer so they get more used to bikes.
