Watching the transom rebuild little by little over the course of months did not do justice to the amount of work it was. This vid puts that in perspective. Very well done!

Just found out something really cool. I was watching an episode of The Duracell Project and Mads stated he kept his rollers in an acetone bath. I had a roller clogged with cured epoxy so left it in a plastic pot of acetone for 3 or 4 days after winch the epoxy had comply softened. All I had to do is scrape it off with a screwdriver and it’s as good as new. Every days a school day! Love you new workshop. Cheers Ian

What a huge amount of work. I don't even remember when you started to work on this transom. Now it's easy to understand why so many boats with a rotten or just damaged transom end up in a scrapyard. It is not economically reasonable to have it fixed by a professional. This boat was very lucky to find you on her way!

Wow Talk about putting a time capsule onto the amount of work that took. Fantastic. Each time you worked on it you explained what was going on and the challenges you were having. Somehow with this video, all the other videos come together in your mind as you watch and the immensity of the transom rebuild comes together and the amount of knowledge you have put out is gathered together as a whole. Thanks for the series.

if I had only watched the combined before amd after video I would think you did this project in a day or so. Lol but I didnt. watched every single update as you went along. that was a lot of work in and around a whole lot more. thanks for bringing us all along. still want to see you finish it off though.

LOL - you are "infuriatingly" ingenious!!!! Some of the methods you use to either measure, pattern or adapt the components you use would NEVER occur to me. You make it all APPEAR to be so easy ... and it's NOT. Thank you for posting so much content.

This video made the journey seem virtually painless. I've enjoyed watching the process and admire how you were able to maintain momentum, after the hectic year you have had. It looks better than factory- maybe you should get a plug and craft a boat from scratch, the way they should be built!

Wow lots of work! I was wondering if you could give me an opinion on how i should approach my project? I have a 1996 maxum 2300 cc; The boat has an inboard sterndrive setup but the back of the boat is not flat; what would you recommend for me to do if I want to put an outboard on it? should I just cut out the the back of the transom and try to reshape the back flat and put a bracket on it? or do it where I shape it enough where the outboard can just sit on top of the transom like how new boats are made? Would love your input.

Great job! I been watching you for years. I see you used gel coat and laminated over it. Is that a good bond? I always grind the gel down to glass. Is it OK to leave some gel and glass over it?

Hi, really appreciate your channel its helped a lot during my restoration of an old danish1968 jupiter 40 motorcruiser. I've almost completed a 10ft by 3.5ft swim platform with steps either side using your fibreglassing techniques so thanks for that! Question, do you have any videos on repairing the Hull paint work? There's a few scuffs that need filling etc but mainly OK, just like to know how to go about getting it ready to repaint. Thanks

Hi Andy. I am working on a project . It’s a 23 foot pro line with a flat back for the motor and I’m wondering would it be easier to go from the inside for doing the transom or Cut the outside off?
