Last week we finished our big sail south to New Zealand and got checked into the country. On this week's episode we don't waste any time and get our butts up to the small port where we haul out. We go through the similar process where that we have experienced six time before, and safely get the boat out of the water, and then its straight to work!
The question is will we have time to explore New Zealand and do boat work?

Keep the ropes and other useful items, you can give them away when visiting people on remote islands that don't have much. I can't believe you sacrificed the Delos shirt for boat work! I'm telling Brian. Warren pull your head out and go see NZ. You might not have another opportunity. Also, choose your adventures wisely, only things you can only do in NZ.

Haha yep I feel pretty bad about that shirt honestly- I even wrecked it the first day they gave it to me! I don’t mean to but we were having a huge bonfire cookout, and it got SO Smokey and covered with soot :( I felt so bad!!

Sail South to Tauranga. Lots of cool stuff and little islands )put Mayor island on the list. Has a green lake and a black lake in the crater). Lots of long sandy beaches all along the way. Tauranga has tons of sailing and good yards and suppliers. You can go inland from there when you get settled. Waiheke Valley is so pleasant. Maybe stop at Raikitu (aka Arrid Island). A beautiful little protected bay. It's a Royal Marine Preserve. Belongs to the Crown n ow. You could dive on the wreck of my boat off the cliffs on the outside to the north. We spent 23 days ship[wrecked there with only the elder caretakers to save us. Tiny island, only about 220 acres. Just south of Cape Brett there is a tight deep bay with a waterfall and big pool right next to the ocean. Explore while moving south. Great Barrier is worth hanging out too. Unique population. Have fun

Ozefridge are the best! Hopefully you got the water cooled system. Their after sales service is great. Our first system we installed in 2007 when we arrived in Australia. It ran 24/7 until we upgraded to the latest version in 2018. They are very finicky with the amount of gas.

Nice video and yeah still your boat job choices are a lot. And the travel choices are a lot. However, it'll be great following you while your checklist goes down. While in New Zealand maybe just maybe you can fly over to Australia for 4 or 5 days to visit Bryan and Kazza SV Delos 2.0 in Brisbane, I'm sure there are inexpensive flights. You'll enjoy New Zealand and what it has in BEAUTY and resources. The people are great and their hospitality is out of this world. Looking forward to the next video. CHEERS!

Erica should take off and enjoy the destination you have arrived at on her own as that’s why you are sailing the world. Leave Warren to enjoy his boat job which could be done every time they arrive at a new country. Finally when you finish sailing ask Warren what parts of the world he enjoyed most,,,,,,,, answer would be boat jobs, didn’t see the world.

Our house & garage are full of useless stuff that my wife refuses to throw away. Magazine collections from the 70's thru 2000s and thousands of paperback books that she's read that she refuses to get rid of. Many of those books are novels and non-fiction stories of wives killing their husbands, so I don't complain.

Last time I was in New Zealand I bought an all black Rugby Shirt...None of their models have long sleeves. New Zealanders have no concept of the cold. Also, keep the heaters. they weigh next to nothing. In March, the average temp is 12-16c. Enjoy the trip it's actually more beautiful than you can conceive.

Thank you for saying this kindly, Erica and I have both noticed that we both do this to each other and we both want to curb it, so ya we agree and thank you… as far as @ttrigf9892 I certainly didn’t not respond that way, and in fact have read your comment trying to understand this opinion that you have. While we post a lot about our lives, exposing ourselves and our vulnerabilities to complete strangers, I don’t think you can say what you say without really knowing us or our relationship. In fact every comment we get, good or bad we try to see what the viewer sees but ultimately, we never respond in the manner of what you said.
