When you curse someone they can not spawn near you for 30 days the distance of that ban increases with the number of curses meaning that if enough peoplecurse someone they end up in donkey town which is super far away from everything else and the only place cursed people can spawn in. But on a personal level it's more of a I don't want to play with you again mechanic.
