As a boater and occasional paddleboard fisherman, it is really amazing how ignorant people can be when fishing. It's really just common courtesy, especially if you have the luxury of a boat. That dude could have fished anywhere he wanted but chose to fish close to you guys on the jetty because he saw ya'll catching. What an absolute tool - you were completely in the right to call him out! Embarrassed for him. And the scuba guy?? Holy cow what a day you had testing your patience! Great videos as always.

I remember this one time I was Striper fishing in a tidal river. I was on this spot loaded with Schoolies and catching one after another. At one point I turned around and saw a shore fisherman had hiked what I knew to be at least .5 miles to the very spot I was fishing. I gave him a big wave, told him “this spot is loaded” and moved 100 yards away to another school. He thanked me profusely and said “most people wouldn’t have left” I told him I’d like to think others would! There is so much more real estate when you are on a boat, and if you have any experience at all on both sides, this is ALWAYS the right thing to do. You are 100% in the right here man. Keep doing your thing!

I can honestly say I have been in all 3 of those situations! The Florida DNR was correct. The diver is required to have a flag. And although diving alone is not illegal, it isn't safe. I have Scuba dove that jetty at St. Andrews State Park, a hundred times and its always different conditions. I have been hooked by anglers, numerous times. But, I think they were being A$$ holes and casting towards our group. If I had to surface, I will usually tell anglers where the big fish are stacked up! While fishing, I have also accidently hooked a dive flag and bouy, as our lines just got crossed! I always give the divers the right of way, because they can't see where the anglers are on the jetty. And they pass by in a matter of minutes, not disrupting the fishing. The boaters can just be a$$holes too! While they can fish the entire coast line, they choose to anchor out in your limited location. Thats just being a prick! It looked like the conditions that day were perfect! For diving or fishing! 😊

The scuba diver was unsafe to himself more than anything, especially with the current being so strong right by the mouth of The Pass. Mostly I see them in the Kiddie Pool area of St. Andrews........BUT THE BOATERS?? "You have the whole other side of the jetties...." BRO YOU HAVE THE WHOLE OCEAN! 😂 If someone is fishing from the Jetties, they more than likely don't have the luxury of fishing virtually wherever they want. Then a 6 pound-ish sheepshead came swimming by on the surface on its side. About 1 minute later, up pops a snorkler. ... Who scared the be-jezzes out of me. We talked for 30 seconds. I told him about the sheepshead... He said it was one he speared but go away.... Then he spotted it, swam off, and retrieved it. Never saw him again. 5 minutes later.... I saw a shark fin. I know it's rare to be attacked while spearing.... But, I'm not interested. Hook and line works fine for me. Nice clip. Nice sharing fish. As a boater I have been anchored up and and had shore or jetty guys walk up and fish on top of me with no one around, tangle me and not say a word. It works both ways but in the end the guy there first has the spot and a respectable distance should be observed by both parties especially if there are only 2 or 3 fishermen present. So if you jump on top of someone boat or shore....Game on. We gonna have words. The boat life of fishing is a different passion of fishing and that passion can turn it rage when both parties have prepared for that day in different ways. Love beach and jetty fishing but I love the boat fishing life too and mostly stick to that now. At the same time watching these shore and jetty fishing videos reminds me that I need to get back to it. Tight lines!!! no real drama there. I seen far worse to the point I'll rap a line in the wheel just to spool a D-bag that has no common sense and is a complete idiot because 150 to 300 yards of braid will fit nicely above my shaft seal and it only takes 20 minutes to clean it out lmao. On the other hand the pleasure boater that runs the beach as there are 6-7 people obviously fishing... thats gonna cost everyone. Had that too. so works both ways.

Florida was a great place to grow up in and Vero was a great fishing spot for half of my adult life but no matter where you go there is dog shit and eventually you will step in it. You are very entertaining and knowledgeable thanks for sharing and don't let the jerks ruin your day they don't know any better. As an afterthought I eventually fished the last two years in Vero without hooks I was just as thrilled to get a strike as I was before to land a fish and it drove folks crazy who did not know how to fish that they were not getting a strike and I was but I didn't care about hooking the fish.
