You had this nice trawler and your own Krøvel design is for expedition type trawlers so why did you sell the trawler for that regular boat?

Hi😁 I sold it cause of building new of my own design; www.krovelyachts.com - and the regular was only a temporary one which I sold last week. Now I don't know cause corona and oilcrisis made our currency weak and we need to sit on the fence for a while on the dry🙄😔

Thanks! - I bought the Selene in 2010 after I had a 47 sailboat for some years - wanted a better boat for our waters and a proper vessel to do year round cruise/liveaboard. The boat is named after my grandfathers old freighter. :) I'll make more videos soon - maybe including a tour and some more info :)

I've herd it sounds a bit like Edward sissor-hand theme - but it can't be too similar if Filmstro have the rights for using it. Doing what Viking ladies do best! Thats an impressive boat. Prefer sail myself though. Beautiful area to cruise around. I'm east coast UK. North sea which is a bit cloudy. Popular crusing area too but for different reasons. Would love to sail around mountainous terrain someday. The Scottish islands are very similar but it's not too far from scandinavia and it would have been connected at some point in distant time.

Thanks! :) I jused to sail - but sailing is not really good in the fjords and rocky coast of Norway - and it added a lot of maintenance to it....I also needed a year round kinda yacht. I've cruised most of North and Western Europe - including England and Scottland...and did the Caledonia canal two years ago. Very nice :) Fare winds⚓️

Yes - just now the North-Atlantic cod comes to our shore to breed - and fishing is large scale...World championship in Cod fishing is just finished - they can get over 40 kilos :P Anna is a 49 foot Selene and she's my home.

Well Erika, I am smitten. By this second episode I was so hooked on your videos I was sad to see there's only a few. Absolutely the best and most stunning Trawler Vlog I have seen since first seeing Tony Fleming's videos, which are also beautifully done. Besides his and yours, there is not much else to choose from out in KZbin land, and those that are out there are quite crude and amateur. Obviously not yours. The sailing community has plenty of nicely done blogs, but the motor yacht community not so much. And if you don't mind my saying, your beauty and the stunning landscapes complement your excellent video work, so there's plenty here to offer. I hope you will find time to do more. Maybe some tips on nice harbors, larger and small, and the towns and food found there. You make an excellent tourist draw for Norway, showing the sights at a view closer to the water than some cruise ship. Plus, if you're game, some video of going out when Winter is coming or going and there's some snow to be seen in the scenery. Either way, you've done some beautiful work with these. Please treat us to some more views of your wonderful Selene and your country's amazing sights. Thank you.

Ha ha - well it's actually just a couple litres of diesel...I was on my way home on two different occasions anyway - and had a friend with a drone onboard. I put together the film in Final Cut on my laptop and composed the music in Filmstro...most expensive was hiring the cruise-ship ;)
