Your videos are great! I know Yamaha is #1 and there are more Yamahas out there than any other manufacturer but could you do the same on Honda BF225?

Add mine to the list of rotted out F225 engines :( Debating whether to rebuild it or just buy a used motor. What brand and years to avoid between 2004 and 2015. I can't afford anything much newer.

Awesome video for those trying to sell this motors for $10k $15k. They are great motors and very reliable but they rot and not only on the exhaust. This isn’t an isolated case.

Miblok fue enmangado y semarco aun lado las falda como si ubiera faldiado los pistones y medaño 3 pistones akese deveria falta de asentamiento

Can you please explain how corrosion occurred this far into the exhaust? I thought that water injection occurs much later in the exhaust system. At least in other marine engine's I've dealt with (not outboards). Is this a problem native only to this generation of yamaha? I hear the early 2000 225s were the absolute worst for this.

Hi John, I need to replace the exhaust on my 04 F225 Yamaha due to corrosion. I ordered the parts kit from Sim including a new oil pump. Do you have a video out doing this repair yet. Thanks

honest question - is it worth rebuild? I imagine the parts that you've put into this has been more than what the entire motor is worth by a longshot, that's not even including labor time if you had to pay for it.

How does exhaust corrosion, caused by faulty manufacturing process for the exhaust, eat into an engine block? Is that saying that if you have exhaust corrosion you'll eventually have it in your block too? How do you prevent it from destroying your block?

El blok fue en mangado y en 2 dias se marco como si ubieras faldiado el pieston en el blok y medaño 3 pistones y ebisto lamayoria delos blokes keles pasa asi nose si es por falta de asentamiento
