@ yup, surely the captain and others on that boat know how to keep the bow up, and that but was well within its limits so I give them a win. Also, in a rescue situation, you can’t just pick up a victim flying through haulovet which is why they go slow

#3 should get the win. Sometimes I go out of Haulover just for a quick ride and turn around for fun, especially when I have friends visit who never go into the ocean. I do this so they can seen what it is like without taking them out and beating them up all day.

I am pretty sure that was the boat Formula had at the Fort Lauderdale show so it is likely that boat was being used to take a prospective buyer out in rough water to see how it performs before the boat was staged in the show or after the show (probably after as it was super windy on Mon. and Tuesday this week when they were tearing down the show).

So can we just hold here at 1:01. I count three 300 Mercs on the stern. Yet in the thumb nail description indicates 2 engines for 2400 hp. I think that would be loss for the creator. The Formula was a win, that boat ate that up almost like it was on a demo run. Wait, notice the Formula flag on the mast, lack of reg numbers. That was just a run to show a prospect how well the boat handles big water. Hate to call it but the creator takes another loss on this one.

!st boat is designed with a bow step that opens so the dive crew or rescue crew can get on and off with tanks or retrieving what ever. Very ingenious design.

That fire boat definitely gets the win. They go out rescue other people, and they are super dry inside the boat. The water rolls right off of it like a ducks feathers.

With #2, sitting is the worst; as the boat comes down, if you’re sitting, you can compress your spine. The BEST way to deal with rough waters like this is to stand, hold on tight and watch the water and let your knees take the bumps. Having sea legs makes this a piece of cake.

Wrong on the first and last boat. First boat is made to take waves over we r bow so the boat can never be called a lose. Last boat capt decided it was too rough turned around when safe. So it's not a lose. Bow never got stuffed.

The first vessel - the fireboat - seems an interesting set of compromises. I wonder what capabilities it was designed to meet? The narrow bow means not enough enclosed volume for adequate buoyancy up front. Also, why are so many American small vessels designed with a sheer dropping towards the front - seems like designing to submerge instead of lift.

A Boat Captain smart enough to know to turn around & do the Haulover Inlet U~Turn NEVER Loses.... he's wise in my humble opinion. About that Fire Boat. Are they carrying some tanks full of some, fire retardants is the front causing the nose to stay so low? I'm curious b/c that low would keep a fireman from working off the front of the boat or make it more dangerous to even try? With 3 knowledgeable Captains, the boats could have won the game today - but mother nature isn't a game !!?
