It's not the messenger...it's the message. You may have questions about some of those through whom a timeless bible truth is delivered...and so do I. But this song, "I surrender all," a hymn I remember from my youth, still speaks to me. It reminds me of the bible story of Abraham and Isaac, when YHVH asked Abraham to offer the fulfillment of God's fulfilled promise of a son to Abraham, on an altar of sacrifice which would have required Abraham give back to God, to return to God, the possibility of having future genetic offspring through his son Isaac, by offering his son as a a sacrifice who was living on an altar which represented the very concept of what God had promised Abraham through Isaac....the entire future exsistence of that promise. Both alive and well, Bob left in 2016, returned briefly for a few months but left again, she is his sister and lives in Florida. Bob is on Facebook and comments looking for gigs when in Cal and in Louisiana occasionally. The ministry never comments why anyone leaves the ministry. Jimmy Swaggart is old now and has insulated himself from the operation of this business/ministry/TV Network though I think he will have to answer to God for many of its questionable practices and deceptions. It is very obvious his wife Frances is in total control and has been grooming their only child to be the hire apparent once she is gone. I don’t know if he can do it, he is arrogant and full of himself, he has 3 children, though only 1 seemingly interested in continuing the family business, Gabriel, who seems better suited for the job, but neither seem as smart or cunning as Frances which unless she sees that and has a fiscal plan already, the ministry may have to go another direction. No doubt millions have been blessed, saved and told the simple story of salvation around the world and that accounts for a lot, as the parable in the scriptures said, “let the Wheat and the Tares grow together and in that day I will separate them” and I believe that will be what God does with this ministry and those who knowingly participated in its deception and sin against God. TBN has done a complete 380 degrees since the founder Paul Crouch died.
