Darso M no i was talking about during fasts, your not allowed to eat, drink or smoke anything, thats what i was explaining to him, because he said he doesnt eat or drink so he fasts better than muslims themselves, but he said he smokes, hes deleted all them comments now. But smoking is not haram in where you would receive what we call "the 40 day haram" where you get no rewards in them 40 days due to intoxicants, smoking is not an intoxicant where you lose control of your body and mind. Furthermore smoking was seen as makruh before people found out it damages your body but now it probably can be deemed as haram because it damages the body and does more harm than good. I dont see why muslims should just treat everyone who smokes, muslims like me wouldnt know where to start, we have doctors for that who are experts on that level of playing field. And muslims do know it is harmful, i think everyone knows that now but they didnt know few decades ago, what are the laws regarding smoking are you talking about? And for going jahannam, you as a muslim or a non muslim cannot say who is going to hell/heaven or whos not, thats for Allah to decide, not a right given to humans, we can say generally like non believers are going hell but i cant go upto an individual and say your going hell, because i dont know if hes done a really good deed which may enter the mercy of Allah. An example of this would be the story of a prostitute that gave water to a dog that was suffering. And vice versa, i cant go to a riteous person and say you are going heaven either. However the only people i can say are going to heaven or hell is whoever Allah has disclosed in the Quran. Satan is going hell, Abu Lahab is going hell, Abu Bakr (r.a) is going heaven, Ali (r.a) is going heaven.

The way Muslims fast is absurd as Bob said. They still eat the same amount of food, just different hours lol. Not only that, Muslims depending on their location on earth, have to fast for differrent hours. Some have to fast for 10 hours while others have to fast for 22 hours! Not to mention Jesus forbade public prayers and fasting because it's a common practice by the hypocrites but Muslims take pride in public prayers and fasting just like the Pharisees who killed Jesus did.

Markus GH I have lost 4 pounds in 10 days, how can you say that we eat more calories in Ramadan. We drink more water before dawn amd after dusk so that the body remain hydrated. And its obvious that you cant eat more when you drink liquid with food, so bob and your point is baseless The next thing is Ramadan is a month of sacrifice, from the body and from the weath. Before the Ramadan starts We are obliged to pay 2.5% donation/Zakat on our weath as per rules, before Ramadn ends we are obliged to pay a certain amount per person to the poor which is called fitrana. In my country, there is free food for poor in almost every square km. People donate alot during Ramadan, and the hunger we feel during the day makes us realise what a poor person feels and this encourages us to donate more throughout the year. Truth, Most Muslims eat the same amount of calories if not more! You can still lose weight because you change the hours of your breakfast, lunch and dinner which isn't a healthy thing to do. Most Muslims eat their breakfast after sunset, then eat dinner and then eat lunch before sunrise so same amount of calories if not more; in other words, three meals per day! Also, what I said about the teachings of Jesus Christ about fasting and prayers stands. Read Matthew 6:5-18. Ramadan is about killing the non-Muslims. Christians or Hindus or Buddhists cannot bless the Muslims on Ramadan unless they want to bless their killers. In Koran, in Al-Taubah chapter it is written that " after the holy month is over, kill the idol worshippers without any mercy". Christians if they are Orthodox or Catholics they worship either Statues or Icons. Even Protestants have the cross.
