Very underrated and ya gotta admit, he's got his own sound, his own voice. He's an original, which is hard to find these days.

We had the wonderful opportunity to see him sing this LIVE at 92 in a tiny library (you could reach out and touch him) as part of the PDX Jazz Festival. While he sat on the couch before singing he looked 92. When he got up he started snapping his fingers and turned into a "cool cat" right before your eyes. . . A most memorable day!!!

Brilliant - I'm a 79-year-old piano player - it's very encouraging to see and hear Bob playing with that energy at 92 -- there's hope for me...!

One of my favourite male jazz vocalists. ❤ First came across him on the songs he recorded with Miles Davis and Gil Evans. Nobody sounds like him. RIP.

RIP Bob. I got to meet you twice before you played your set. You were always so nice and generous with your time. A legend!

Yeah, Bobby. To sound like that when you're 92.
