Welcome to my channel! This is a music reaction channel. For the longest time, I've loved creating content on the internet. I started off with a gaming channel right here on KZbin, which eventually turned into a Twitch gaming channel, but as time has gone on I've evolved into doing other things on KZbin. For years now I've wanted to create a music channel on KZbin, and recently just figured "why not?", so it’s time to give this a go! Give me any suggestion you have for music reactions, and I will do my best to get around to them. As music has fallen further out of my life, I figured this would be a great time to get reintroduced to music.
If you enjoy this video and my reactions make sure you subscribe to the channel, like the video and comment down below which video you would like to see me react to next.
This is a reaction video used to educate and give my feedback on the song and artists.

Dylan condemning the military industrial complex. You unknowingly mentioned another Dylan socially conscious song “Only a Pawn in their Game “ which he sang at the 1963 march on washington. On that day you had the eloquence of Dr. King’s speech and this in your face song of Dylan.

A real spanking to all those who truly deserve it! Love your reactions - especially to Dylan - thanks for keeping his messages front and center - they need to be kept in our consciousness to avoid repeating them over and over again. (We're at one of those points in time right now!)

This song perfectly describes the disgust and hatred I felt on my return toward those who sent myself and others to Vietnam and still feel for those who continue to send other people's sons and daughters to useless conflicts that protect nothing but the profit margins of corporations and their share holders.

Dylan had a lot to say about many situations and subjects. That was a good analysis of the song CR. Peace.

Bob Dylan said he always felt bad about writing the last verse, particularly "and I hope that you die, and your death will come soon".

I can't think of a more direct, more powerful anti-war song than this Dylan classic. 60 years later it has lost none of it's power.

It's not an anti-war song. It's anti-military-industrial complex. Don't believe that? Take it from the source. Bob Dylan himself said, in an interview published in USA Today on Sept 10, 2001: "Masters of War"… is supposed to be a pacifistic song against war. It's not an anti-war song. It's speaking against what Eisenhower was calling a military-industrial complex as he was making his exit from the presidency. That spirit was in the air, and I picked it up.

I lived at West Point in 1966 my father was a Sargent Major for the Commanding General of the time and I did remember but I was in the eighth grade with his daughter. She was very beautiful and I had a crush on her but she was already attacking guys 10 years her older than she was. West Point is a beautiful place and I could use certain areas of the gym and full run of the six story library. My father had been sent to the Army language school to learn Spanish. He did and trained the Cubans that were landing at the Bay of Pigs. It took me a few years before I understood what he was doing. He was sent to places that had unstable governments. Places in Africa and Central America. I had friends who went with their family to other countries. We never did and what he was doing required him being alone. He went to Vietnam twice and was injured the second time around. He didn’t need my approval to do what he did but being a kid, it a few years to realize that. I could fight a war like the one in Ukraine . I was into the pot and acid especially after I met Jerry Garica and the band when I had a chance to speak to him in April of 1971. and I asked him if I could sit behind the amps and he let me and the first person I met is Bear dropping liquid acid on the back of their hands and then they would lick it off. did the same and he put four big drops on the back of my hand and I licked it off. I had a chance to talk with him as he was running the sound system. So I asked him if he could hook me up with his local dealer and he did. I am now 72 years old and I am feeling it. I met my wife at a show in Providence Rode Island and we chose situations to make the yankee dollar. I just got an Alfa Romeo Stilvo in trade for a Toyota Camry . I had one in the mid seventies and wanted the feel of a sports car but it’s also called a sport utility vehicle. I have more than thirty high end electric guitars and vintage amps. Luckily I can play the amps as loud as I wish , so it’s all good. I love Bob Dylan and the Grateful Dead. ⚡️roll away the dew ⚡️

I think you named your next Dylan reaction. “Only A Pawn in their Game” from his very next album “The Times They Are A Changin”. One of the deepest most thoughtful exploration of racial injustice put to song. The album version or his live performance at The Newport Folk Festival” are beyond powerful.

Yeah, Dylan was pretty radical early in his career. He was on the forefront of the civil rights battles and the antiwar movement...for a while. As he matured, he sort of mellowed out and refocused his writing away from political themes.
