I've seen this so many times and it affects me every time. Incredible group of musicians honoring Dylan. Bob Dylan is on his Neverending Tour.

Always been a favourite song. In order the vocals were from Roger McGuinn (the Byrds), Tom Petty, Neil Young, Eric Clapton, Bob Dylan, and George Harrison. Others shown as part of the concert included Stevie Wonder, Chrissie Hynde (the Pretenders), Ronnie Wood (the Rolling Stones), Lou Reed, Tracy Chapman, and Willie Nelson. If you love Dylan's lyrics, two that always blow me away are "Love Minus Zero/No Limit" and "Visions of Johanna".

I can see that you recognized many of the major rock legends on stage with Bob. And did you see George Harrison? It opened with Roger McGuinn from the Byrds...they did a great cover of that song as well.

Only issue with the Byrds version is how they cut half the song out.

For Clapton BEST guitar work: - Stormy Monday with John Mayall 1966 - Have you ever loved a woman 1966 or 1994 - Why does love got to be so sad (1970 live at Fillmore) - Let it rain (1970 live at fillmore) - Double Trouble 1978 bootleg or 1995 - Groaning the Blues - Five Long Years 1995 - Early in the Morning 1995 - Edge of Darkness - Old Love accoustic AND 1992 at Mountain View - Bootlegs with Cream

George Harrison in the purple jacket, sung one of the verses. He was in the Traveling Wilburys with Dylan and Petty. George alson wrote a song or two with Dylan right after leaving the Beatles.

A concert like no other, that line up is so unique, the likes of whom we will never see again, amazing musicians coming together on stage for one man, does not happen anymore, no talent around like those guys wanting to perform together. PS Bob Dylan is still touring the world to full shows

Check out him and the Band doing "Forever Young" from The Last Waltz its among his best live performances, and you can see the power he had on stage presence back in his prime.

This has to be the best All-Star lineup ever. Neil Young's solo is great, an earlier version of this video doesn't cut away to showcase other performers at this concert. Notable is that three of the members of the Traveling Wilburys are here plus the drummer, i believe. Add Eric Clapton, Neil Young, and Roger McGuinn and it doesn't get any better than that.

Stage full of legends including three Traveling Wilburys George Harrison, Dylan and Tom Petty. Dylan will be 83 this year and still tours all the time. Please do "It's Alright Ma (I'm Only Bleeding) and "Mr Tambourine Man" from "Bringing It All Back Home" studio versions, not live videos. Peace ❤

First vocalist is Roger McGuinn from The Byrds. They covered several of Dylan's songs and had hits with them. George Harrison from The Beatles in the bright purple jacket. One of the guys in the band in the back looks like Elvis' guitarist James Burton.

This was a legendary concert! There isn't a single performance you'd want to miss here. Great choice, man. Dylan, Kris Kristofferson, Johnny Cash, John Mellencamp, Tom Petty, George Harrison, The Band, Tracy Chapman, Booker T & the MGs, Richie Havens, Lou Reed, the list goes on and on. It's the sort of thing that doesn't happen every day.

Neil Young and Steven Stills covered several Dylan songs way back in the mid Sixties when they were members of the group The Buffalo Springfield. Then Stills and Young joined CSNY (Crosby, Stills, Nash, and Young). Graham Nash had been a member of The Hollies. Richie Furay was in Buffalo Springfield before he joined the group Poco which had several hits. And Jim Messina was in Buffalo Springfield before he joined Loggins and Messina.

What Bob Dylan's recent 17 minute epic about President Kennedy's assassination called A Murder Most Foul. Nobody else dared to address this topic until Bob came out of nowhere and dropped it on the world most recently. What does he fear? He is 80 and has done it all and seen it all. It was a complete surprise to the music industry that he would do this, stunning in it's nerve to point his finger and sing about his convictions. You will be one of the first to review this important musical statement.

Also, LISTEN TO BOB’S MESSAGE WITH THIS SONG! Now more than we have since the Vietnam War do we need to remember what this song is saying. It’s a criticism of the hypocrisy of the Hippie movement of the 60s, which has been mirrored horribly today with the extremist polarization of the world. And I find it rather ironic now that Neil Young performed in this, considering how far off the deep end he went over Spotify.

You like this? I would recommend the original Dylan recording. He's able to vary the lyrics so that each word actually means something different. I don't know why the Byrds turned it into a rock song, but this compilation is just a mess. And Dylan's voice is gone.
