Fell On Black Days is an old favorite from dark times. But probably my favorite chris cornell song ever is Doesn't Remind Me.

We just got snow for Christmas up here in Canada so this video is fun to re-watch. It would be cool seeing you react to Madonna in her prime, she really was the queen of pop in the 80's and 90's.

The 1st southern rock band. Extremely popular on the concert circuit. One of the best live acts ever.

In 1972, UNDISPUTED TRUTH was the original artists but The Temptations also recorded it in 1972, it was considered the most popular.

Not sure if anybody told you what draggin the line means; it's laying cable for electric or telephone lines. My dad did it his whole life and this song was their anthem back then. 👍🏼❤️

Desolation Row sort of represents a metaphorical place that one escapes too or finds themselves in of seeing things for how they really are and outside of the societal and cultural traps. It is referred to as 'Desolation' because it is also a solitary and perhaps lonely place in that not many go, but once you do, you can never fully integrate back into the traps and unrealities of society again. But in order to move forward, you have to find some new way of being in the world where you can integrate yourself in it somehow. But it's also a place where one unprepared or resistant can meet their death, or be stuck in a perpetual existential state. But I'll admit the song is confusing and the meaning of Desolation Row isn't completely clear. It really comes across like a vivid and surreal dream.

Golden age of Leather as I see it back when gangs would fight, wearing the leather jackets. Some times bats or chains but mostly fist and cuffs. Then at the end......the shaft of chroamian steel. ie...a gun barrel. That ended the golden age of leather.

Tull might be dissing christianity due to the fact that he is a Pagan, like so many from the UK. Most of us identify as Druid or Pantheist. Our beliefs are ancient .

My mama passed away this September 23rd. I flew into LA to see her. Spent the night with her in the hospital, talked about making changes in our lives and promised that she'd move in with me so I can take care of her. Liver cancer got the best of her that night and she fought the next couple of days, until the Lord said otherwise. On my way home from the airport, this song came on and finished as I parked in the garage. Fuck, that was rough last 5-minute drive home. I love you Mama.
