When I saw Dylan in 2000, I came away thinking it was THE BEST SHOW ever performed. It was a hot night outside on the Delaware River.. and I'll be damned if I can remember the date. Bob began promptly at 7 p.m. with the crowd still filing in.. taking little notice of the opener Duncan and Brady. He didn't end til just about 9 p.m. I didn't stay to hear the entire Phil Lesh Band set which I was told went on til nearly midnight. I don't look these things up. More interested in my memories.. than my memory.. know what I mean? RED WHITE AND BLUE SHOESTRINGS. Thank you. And Bob.

I first became aware of Dylan when my sister's boy friend, now my brother in law, who was in a band and left his fender guitar and amp at my house along with the Dylan Highway 61 album. I new 3 cords that my mom had shown me, and played and played the album, every song, especially Like a Rolling Stone. I loved it was in 1967. Dylan was the biggest influence on my music. Even today I play his songs and his style along with the harmonica. I have been fortunate to have seen him three times in concert. It was great!

Indeed it is. .... I've viewed it a bunch through the years on that Keith Gubitz channel. I remember purchasing the boot at my local record store for $40 or $50 back in 2002 or '03. ... Also recall them having a huge box set which contained every recording from the '00 Fall tour going for like $300 or $350 gorgeously displayed behind the counter. .... At the time couldn't justify dropping that kinda coin, yet totally wish I did. Even if downloads are easily accessable nowadays there's just something about those silver discs boots.. .... LoL, also guessing such a set would go for over a grand and only going up with time.... Even used. ....... Anyways, can clearly tell this vid is upgraded. ... Great times 😃. Appreciate the upload, Mr. Sam 🙏👍 ... 🤘✌️

God damn! Dylan is just fucking amazing, how he calls an audible with his band, on any given night on any given song, and it comes out usually better or just as good. Take “Trying To Get To Heaven” for instance. His rendition here makes me want to weep and mourn the loss of someone more than the studio version does.

Who could disagree with me? Bob Dylan is a great guitars, he could have been one of the very greats up there with Jimi Hendrix, Rory Gallager, Scott Gorham & Brian Robinson, Gary Moore and other greats if he did not get side racked with his singing and songwriting. Can you imaging Bob been introduced on stage, The one and only Bob Dylan on lead Guitar
