Got the book , can't wait to read it, met Bob in the v early 60's once, up North when he was with Dave Sampson & the Hunters, he told me he couldn't decide whether to turn pro as a drummer or become a Draughtsman...of course he made the right decision, great drummer

First heard Bob Henrit when I started listening to Argent. Never knew who he was prior though American radio was besieged with the major hits being produced in the UK ( Roulettes, Unit 4 + 2 ). I just discovered these interviews. I am LOVING them ..

I’m only just discovering this great series of interviews - I’ve always loved the way drummers can indeed talk about a wingnut for two hours. I’ve still got the 1977 Ludwig Black Beauty snare bought from Henrit’s Drumstore - still pristine and with the original Rockers heads so must be worth a few quid by now. Any chance of crossing the pond and doing a talk one day with one of my current faves - Shawn Pelton?

Who is the one drummer that Bob is referring to? BTW nice interview... Bob was a real gentleman and has aged well. Good health.

I've two problems with this otherwise excellent interview (and I'm glad I found the channel and will watch all the other videos) but ONE, we never found out who the one drummer is who Bob thinks isn't a "proper person"...though perhaps it's better for Bob that the name was NOT revealed in the video. And TWO, there was no mention of Keith Moon, who had famously named Bob in several interviews as being a particular favorite of his. I would've liked to have heard Bob's reaction to that and what he thought of Moonie as a drummer and person. I hope MOON wasn't the drummer Bob was referring to in the interview...by all accounts, Keith Moon could be a difficult person to be around, given his manic energy, but nobody ever said he was a bad guy or wasn't loved by those around him.
