for all the nobody who will read this: Spruce moths are attracted to water sources as a source of hydration. They do not have the ability to drink water like humans do, so they must absorb it through their bodies. Another reason that spruce moths may be attracted to water sources as a place to lay their eggs. Many insects, including moths, lay their eggs near water sources because the moist environment is favorable for the development of their young. They are also attracted to water sources for the minerals and nutrients that are present in the water. Some insects, including moths, are known to feed on minerals and nutrients that they obtain from moist soils and other wet environments.

Thank you sir! You impart a certain wisdom of tying that is aces! The clear and concise instruction is very pleasant to watch and easy to digest. The history & lore, especially the lexicon & vocabulary of the craft you so graciously pass on - is most appreciated! With the greatest esteem & respect... I wish you health & hook-sets!
