I was introduced to Bob Marley's music 38 years ago. I was in my teens. My mom had to drag me to the table to eat, hit me in the head with my books due to not studying, and threatened to take my stereo if I didn't stop holding my head as close as I could to the speaker to listen to Bob. Boy did I love his music.

So so good. An all-time favorite of mine! This performance is superb, and I also particularly worship the live recording of this song in Tokyo at Sun Plaza back in the late 70's. The guitar solo on that recording is wailin fo sho. I love the opportunity to see bob playin his chucka - chuck on the guitar in this vid too!

I cant really explain it in words, it says in the bible that men are created in God image, and I believe that all of us have God's characteristics but Bob Marley, he's one of those human being's that is just amazing, his music, what he sang about, what he stood for was just so amazing, I feel that God's image is really seen in him, I hope that makes more sense to you, God Bless

The king of reggae, a phophet and musical messenger of god. Spreading the word about rastafarianism, love and unity and revolution. Was trodding on this earth for a place to rest his head. Now his head rests on the lap of god. He's an original one off. Never to be repeated. However, his children will keep his message alive. Something about them tells me he lives in each of them. Heard his son Julian Marley and heard Damian Marley talking at an interview. Melody Makers keep up good work.

Bob knew how to take his opportunities towards the next level, he wanted to be big and he archieved it. If peter Tosh stayed in the group he may have been popular like Bob but who knows? Remmember, leaders are born and they will rise up no matter the situation they are in, Bob was a natural born leader and that is why he was the lead singer for the wailers ever since. You get me?
