@@melissapryce25 No you can't see his body. His casket is in a beautiful marble stone tomb that you walk around. Where he is laid you have to take your shoes off before entering. It is quite a amazing phenomenal and serene experience to visit his childhood home. Although it is a scary ride going up in the mountains to get there... but you will enjoy every moment visiting 9 mile!❤❤

I was 13 years old and still growing up in Trinidad when Bob died, but I was already what I would call, a well-seasoned, highly experienced journeyman afficionado of all things "Bob Marley and The Wailers." I knew nearly all of their albums and all of their songs by every note, every key, every lyric and every instrument. Bob Marley and the Wailers were ALL within us all and were part and parcel of the fabric of our African existence throughout the English-speaking Caribbean. The news of his passing was delivered to me by one of my best friends as we were crossing paths while at school. It hit me like a ton of bricks and I stopped dead in my tracks and broke down in tears. 43 years later and the somber reminders of his funeral always transpose me to that place where I was stopped in my tracks and broken down to tears. R.I.P., Bob and R.I.P. to all the fallen members. We still love you all and we miss you all.
